4/4/10 movie was great....shitty ending but the rest of the film was wonderful...

also Maven's encoding isn't always perfect, especially on darker films where its super pixelated...

They do great work overall though...But hydro, internal or not, don't release shit when its incomplete and missing that much footage...

Reminds me of the Silent Hill release, til this day we still don't have a complete version of it.

this film has a lot of dark patches and good visual effects. It needs to be seen on the big screen.

I'll tell you "what the F***" (to quote you) I want: A rls that isn't missing footage. I prefer nice TS's, or really TCs if they're early, but I can deal with cams, too....just not with scenes missing. I don't care that I saw it in theatres and I already know what happens. If I wanted to use my memory to watch it again, I wouldn't be downloading it in the first place, would I?

Movie - ?, im watching it as i type this.

Terrible start, rattles non stop for 5mins, camera out of place for 10. Im 20mins into it and it seems fine sofar. Video if very dark and horrid but the audio is fine, listenable.

3 problems with this release.....

1. Too dark
2. Cd1 is CD2 and vice versa
3. Hydro don't know how to spell CARIBBEAN

i seen this in theatres opening night. must say great movie, but those who watch only this release are missing one of the best movies of the year...

this release is pure crap... avoid at all cost...

personally im waiting for a better release... Just hope maVen can get it out soon...

and for all those saying this and that about maVen, can you name me someone who is releasing quality as good as theres? other than dvd rips? exactly no one hold a flame up to maVen, just hope that news article i put up wasnt about them... being caught and all...

Not sure what movie you saw - but william turner gets whipped a long time before he challenges davey jones to that game... The way I remember it (and I just got back from Cinema) is that his father joined in so William would not lose and Davey Jones set William free...

Well, not Hydro's best release....... 3 issues with it...

1. VERY DARK
2. CD1 is CD2 and vice versa
3. HYDRO CAN'T SPELL CARIBBEAN

2 / 2 / 9........ roll on number 3 next summer

in my opinion being the first to release isn't that great. Wouldn't you rather be the group to be the first to release a WATCHABLE copy?

v- 4 dark, missing parts

a- 4 muffled, audience noise as well

m-? probably awesome, but i can't tell from this copy.

Hydro aren't risking their asses, read the nfo (which just happens to not be on VCD Quality), its a LAME silver encode. maVen still owns.
