i think the dvd rip will have subtitles when the aliens speak like they did at the movies*pdvd*?
none
Most retail dvd's do not contain hardcoded subtitles so I'm assuming that the subtitles for the alien language was thrown in with the softcoded movie subtitles. This happens with alot of films when they are released on dvd.

Just finish watching. TCF has really done some great stuff! Excellent video/audio, what do you expect from a DVD source.
I don't know if anyone noticed but they used DVD2SVCD for this rip. Which is strange because DVD2SVCD is the easiest program in the world to include subtitle tracks. Not many DVD's use subtitle tracks, they are usually just incorporated into the video, but there are exceptions like Star Wars 1 & 2 and Red Dawn. Just glad that are not alot of subs in the orginal, not compared to a movie like Red Dawn. One last thing, the two second audio crackle in the begining of Disc 2 which is a common problem with DVD2SVCD.
Well done TCF! Time to finally retire that *** copy!
a few comments
First i would like to thank TCF For a great release, the Audio is execelent and the video is as perfect. you never let us down !
I was looking @ the video and noticed something that i am sure others have also... well if you notice the Widescreen boarders (on the top and bottom, the black boarders) well they appear double what they should be.. maybe a little bigger?
so because the boarders are bigger then normal.. the picture is smaller then normal.
has anybody else noticed this? Is this a reason to release a proper, or was it ment to be like that ?

AotC DVD rip where???
I can't finde the star Wars dvd rip anywhere? Can somebodi give me a hint.
Re: a few comments
quote:This is a common issue noticeable only on some monitors/tv's and certain standalones with 2:35:1 SVCD's. Groups don't often crop the black bars from 2:35:1 svcd during the encode because you're going to have to add black bars anyways, with divx you'll need to or it'll look horrible. Anyways, you're probably confused at what I'm trying to say but my point is that it doesn't require a proper unless you're gonna proper a shitload of other 2:35:1 SVCD's out there.

doesn't negate the fact they still made more than one, as you claimed, with or without Birthday G....
Is there a way to add a sub channel for that small 45 sec gap to run by time index seperately from the mpeg2 file?? Some way to add to bin file with WinIso rather than recode the mpeg2 file??
this is awesome

Can you read "moron"? We already told you MIIB TS SVCD, which I did have at one point, but it had some horrible audio glitches.
Oh , maybe that one didn't show up on Isonews.com or here for you (think it might have been an "internal") so you didn't know about it with your lame access. Get lost!
