-- Pirates of the Caribbean At Worlds End *XViD* - TELESYNC - mVs (http://forum.vcdq.com/showthread.php?threadid=76594)
Hmm people seem to have very mixed opinions on this one
I watched on a 19" CRT monitor. I watched through an old version of WMP with FFDShow.
Video 6.5 - It IS pixelated. However suddenly with de-block turned on the picture is quite decent.
Audio 7.5 - Nice, I do believe it to be direct.
Movie 7 - But not as good as the other two.
Horton you're talking dog shit nothing at all wrong with this release watched it all the way through couldn't notice any pixellation and the sound was spot on
Video - 8.5
Audio - 8 cuts out for a second 3/4 way through once or twice but doesn't affect the film
Movie - 6 nowhere near as good as the first 2
Nice pic on the TV and the audio is good. Does skip and glitch 2 times in the movie but over all a great release.

7.5 on the movie. Not as good as the First one but way better than the second.
Really beginning to wonder if there are two mVs releases, based on the divisions in this thread.
v - 8 color palette a bit off, only remembering one slight skip, and not really seeing the pixellation that has so many atwitter.
a - 7 here my comment is that I can't tell if the problems I have with my ears picking up the audio are release specific or recording specific (I haven't understood more than two of Jack's lines in 3 films combined). One tick off for the audio not kicking in for almost a minute at the start, and disappearing just into the credits at the end.
m - 6 overall, a few marvelous performances (Rush, Nighy, and Richards) but nothing else I'd gather myself to watch over and over.

Watched this 3 times now, once outside on a projector (8' screen), once on a 60" 4:3 TV and once on my 19" monitor.
V:7 - Little pixelated, little bright and washed out, minor camera focus problems, but overall very watchable.
A:7 - Direct audio, no low bass in cannon fire, few gaps in sound throughout (I think 4 or 5 times, each time for 1 second or so, doesn't lose sync though)
M:7 - Thought it was enjoyable enough to watch 3 times this weekend. Definately better than #2 but not as good as #1. A lot of stuff to follow and keep track of in this movie.
V=8
A=8
M=8
No reason to nuke it.
If you want glitch free movies, wait for the DVD to come out and buy it.

Again very nice job on this good quality, very fast release mVs. your work is appreciated. the video is pretty good quality. i didnt notice too much blockiness in this one...even in the action sequences it wasnt bad at all. very clear for first release. now one thing i did notice about the video was that it went out of focus a few times, but only for a couple seconds each time. not bad enough to stop watching it. if i remember correctly, i did notice one glitch in the video but hey, i got no complaints because this is undoubtedly a very watchable release. the audio is very good on this one. its nice and clear and full too. it seems to be synced very nicely b/c everything is spot on, i didnt notice any misses at all. got some good bass too and not tinny at all. sounded great on my pc's surround sound system. the movie itself was kind of a let down to me. i mean, dont get me wrong, it was good, but i guess i was expecting this one to be more than what it was....based on the previous ones and the previews for this one. but none the less still a very enjoyable film. thx for all the hard work u guys put in all the time mVs and keep em coming.
