If you know anything about encoding you'll know that there's nothing to worry about for a dvd2svcd rip .....

Only thing they might be able to track is the source... if they included some hidden watermark or data on the dvd .... that's about it...

Again... this does not effect anyone with the dvdrip ... only the source...

9/9.5/8 Great Release

brilliant...9/9/9

awesome quality, even more so considering that the movie has only been out a few weeks in the UK --it phsyically hurt me watching the dark VideoCD version and whilst the UTi version was the best before this encode, the intro really annoys me and the whole movie didnt look right (was good for a CAM though)

9/9/10 (or 9/9/8 if you dont like the aston martin vanquish car and the chase sequence its in)

TCF = quality encodes.

love the quality only time i seen any bad scenes were in the ice where bond is running away in the rocket car i can see lines and junk like that (i only seen it on pc havn't played it on my dvd player yet.) Otherwise quality is excellent even in the opening sequence with the madonna song in the background (which reminds me audio is also extremley superb). I seen cd2 in my dvd player and it all runs smooth and perty tcf did a great job.

I read all the posts, I think I don't miss anyone, if I did, sorry.
I saw some ppl ask about how often the message property bla bla appears, but I don't saw any answer, anyone could give me some info?
Thanks in advance.

Thumbs up

mAd respect for TCF. They always revive the scene in slow times and once again prove themselves the best damn group around. Video is fantastic and audio is just as good. No counters which is always a plus. Movie is not so good though, not one of the best bond movies. Keep up the work TCF, it may not seem as though but some of us really do appreciate the hard work groups do.

Audio: 9/10
Video: 9/10
Movie: 6/10

I downloaded the sample....and it gives me an error:

Windows Media Player cannot play the file. The file may be formatted with an unsupported codec, or the Internet security setting on your computer is set too high. Lower your browser's security setting, and then try again.

im sure its the codec that i need. Could anyone tell me what codec(s) i need? and where i can get them.

Cheers

Its because its SVCD, download a MPEG2 codec or a software DVD player like powerDVD.

Yet another amazing rls from the guys at TCF! Props on the sort time lapse between TS and SCR. Very nice encode both video and audio a clean and crisp. The movie is not as good as the quality IMO which is unfortunate.

P.S. MatrixKid this is not the place for that kinda post and you can find that nfo almost anywhere so try and do some reading on your own first next time or post in the correct place. BTW the xvid copy will proably be better for you if your not going to watch on a stand alone. Save yourself a CD.

Question souns synch is off

great release! but the sound is lagging about 2 seconds....what is wrong? did anyone else get a sound lag and how does one fix it? TIA

:: sounds like u have hardware problems -pHo

Great quality on this one.

Anyone having trouble converting this to mpeg2 with TMPGEnc Plus?

:: SVCD *IS* MPEG2 .. why would you need to convert it? unless you're confused with MPEG1(VCD) -pHo

Posted by neomatrix on 12-17-2002 03:46 AM:

this is just amazing!

Posted by backoff on 12-17-2002 05:18 AM:

Out of sync. Mine is out of sync I just extracted teh bin and cue and used VCDGear to unpack it and it was out of sync. Maybe it is my mpeg-2 codec im gonna install another to see if that fixes it.
