The reason my dld are slower, is I'm also dlding harry.potter.2.divx.cd2-dominion.avi, 11.22.02.Triple.X.DVDrip.SVCD-TDC-CD1.rar and Halloween.Resurrection.DVDRip.DivX-iNiQUiTY.avi which are also pulling some of my bandwidth.

Smaller download, and with my faster system, I use tmpgenc and vdub (if need) to encode and burn to svcd which I watch on my dvd player. Is this wrong? If so, I guess I'll be wrong considering the XVID codec has allowed me to dld 5 movies in less than one day (I let them dld while I'm gone and at work or with my wife and son like tonight while I was xmas shopping).

If I'm doing something you feel is wrong or in poor taste, than by all means, correct me of my ignorance. But if your post was just a flame, well, I guess we can let others decide who is the better person and who really belongs here. I for one flame only when deserved, and *persona non gratia* deserved it.

Thats not neccesarially true, Ive dwnloaded avi's (anime), that although the file sizes were quite large (400mb +) for a half hour episode were exceptional quality.

I have downloaded the TCF release but the audio is out of sync and wanna know if this is complete cause I will get this if it is.

Tweezer,

I convert the avis to svcd to watch on my dvd player with my big screen tv and 18 speaker, 3 sub surround sound system!

Much more enjoyable with the wife than watching them on a 19" monitor!

As for quality, when watching on my television, the quality is excellent, almost DVD. One Hour Photo and White Oleander (wife's pick!) looked great!
