I watched this release last night and it is a prity decent copy.
The sound is dogy for the first 5 mins but then cleans up alot.
There is No missing segments of sound on my copy.
The picture quality is reasonable enough even in the action sequences ( of wich there are meny).
as for the film does not live up to the hype, most of the film is taken up with people hanging on ropes kicking people, Seen it beffore (rember you did it in The Matrix).

Yeah, everyone turn your bass down for this release. There is no loss of sound as I have watched through the movie myself once and my brother watched it again.

Just finished watching this and not bad.. little dark, little off, sound qual ok.. I'd go 5/5/10 (10 only cause I'm a Matrix junkie). Taking my mom out this weekend to see it in the theater.. as that is the only way you can truly appreciate a movie like this.

Props to ESO for getting the first copy out.

BTW.. I'm a little noob here.. what defines *NUKED*? Never mind the 'nuked' comment

Ok, my short take:

Watched all the way thru, from svideo out to my 24" tv with powerDVD (if anyone cares!).

Picture: For a TS release it's pretty good - not too much waiting for the Cam to adjust to light/dark quick (which is nice). No noticable annoying angle (save the couple of bits in the break of the discs but that's soon sweet). Yup, grainy but you get over it as the film draws you in. So 6 - only cos the rips will inevitably be higher.

Sound: Yeah, not too good. Screws around at first but settles to a reasonable quality (not Direct quality but listenable without being distracting). I wasn't bothered by hiss as I found there was not a lot of treble in the soundtrack anyway due to the quality, so lowering the treble to cut the hiss doesn't really impact on the overall sound. 4.5

Film: Good, lots of fights but does have the stop gap feel. Lots of unanswered bits (some of which Animatrix helps), lots of waffle, and more fights. Oh, and some fights too. 8 (Revoultions will be the one (!))

6/4.5/8

6/5/9, but still it's good for being the first. very watchable, especially after they fixed the sound 20 minutes in.
