Finally back!

Turned down an all-day drinking session with some Aussies (to watch the cricket), skipped going out on the beers to watch LFC muller L'Arse, and didn't phone the ex who texted and asked me to come over for lunch (and thereby skipped a guaranteed shag)...all so I could stay sober and awake to catch the Dr.

And it was worth it The SFX have stepped up a notch...and the new chick is tasty. Me likes. A pretty face, a nice smile, a (modest but) firm pair up top and, importantly in these days of stick insects I'm afraid to snap, child-bearing hips!

Another timelord would be The Master , apparently played by John Simm from Life on Mars. He will be known as Mr Saxon until his true identity is revealed. There have already been things referring to Mr Saxon, the only one I spotted was a poster on a wall. Its gonna be drawn out like the Bad Wolf thing I reckon.

Yesterdays ep was pretty good.

And oh yeah. Mister Saxon is an anagram of Master No Six. There having been 5 previous incarnations.

I've been suitably impressed with the FX this season as well. Ok, it doesn't have the obscene budget that Stargate or Galactica has but it does ok imho

I doubt they'll kill the Master off too quickly - they'll include *some* form of get-out so they can keep bringing him back, as with all Who regulars like the Daleks and Cybermen.

I can't say I was that impressed with the recent Daleks episodes though. They were "a bit shite" if you ask me*

Another cool episode: More fancy special effects (ok, still not up there with the stupid-budget US stuff like Stargate or BSG but this is the BBC!), more references to Mr Saxon and more of that delicious Freema Agyeman's arse... My friend and I (yanks) watch it religiously. It's one of the only good shows on the telly.

Now last night's episode (S3E10) was AMAZING. One of the best episodes so far.

oh and LOL we got our Sonic Screwdrivers in the other day with "invisible" UN pen and UV light with awesome sound FX from ther series! (thinkgeek has em)

If S03E10 is "Blink" then yes, it was creepy... I cried for my Mum but she wouldn't help. Eventually I found comfort in my teddy.

I want an episode in which Freema Agyeman turns into a cock-hungry slut but I doubt that fucker R.T.Davies knows how to write a good hetro storyline
