dark scenes look shit, pixelated and same as harry potter.
the rest looks good.
7/9/?

Posted by Jules_Tavernier on 12-13-2005 01:41 PM:

Anyone giving this a 9 or 10 for video must be fucking blind or rating from the jpeg alone.

As the above says the dark scenes are really shit, Just watch the first few mins of the movie and its enough to put you off watching it all.

The noise on the screen reminds me of watching old VHS videos.

+ that little bit of dirt on the lens IS anoying, Its like a dead pixel, if you dont notice it its cool, but as soon as you do its gunna get on your tits.

7.8.?

Posted by Brisse on 12-13-2005 01:42 PM:

I really dont see how people can vote it so high. If yuo play it on a dvd on the telly without doing anything, all black is filled with red. And its pixelated, like HP4 almost, but i havent seen anyone in front of the camera yet.

Nice movie, nice sound, for a change.

All in all, its cam in adark movie, so nice work.

8 = V - 8 = A - 9 = M

Can't ask for better

I was unable to watch cd 1 due to a prob with r.33 ..

cd 2

V 10
A 9

Thanks maVen

Anyone who complains about the darkness or quality should wait for the dvd cause I don't think it can get better than this ..... other then the fact that I had a prob with cd 1

Yep as stated dark scenes are pretty gash but theres not that many so its bearable.

mark on lense is annoying but can virtually be removed with logoaway and a run through vdubmod.

Vid: 7
Aud: 8
Mov: 7

Ya, that dark mark in the screen/lens is annoying, especially in the snow scenes. But I guess if it wasn't there we wouldn't have anything to complain about. lol. Watched it on the bigscreen TV last night and I was very impressed.

Rating a TS:
V:9 - Would have been a 10 on my TS scale if the black mark wasnt there. Dark scenes were definately better than HP. I don't think there is a cam out there that can capture dark scenes any better than they are doing now.
A:10 - Nothing bad I can say about it. No sense crying over lack of DTS anymore.
M:7 - IMO it was just a good family movie (Disney).

I just watched it in my LG DVD Player and didn't have any problem.

V:9
A:10 (I only have 2 speakers, so it sounds very good)
M:7 (It's not another LOTR as I was expecting)

Very good release, though

maybe, you'll comon sence will wake up and a light will blow up over your head, a little brain will start to grow up into your head and you will start to think ... " hey, this as been actualy filmed with a camcorder into a theater ... " that day, you will start learning and find out on internet. " The mosaic of red and green is the lack of luminance caused due to the emulation of details from the CCD of the camera " in another word, this wouldn't happen with a camera with 3 CCD as big as the one they using with 1 CCD.

and if a ts look like a vhs to me, i rather watch that then the hydro silvers.

Watched this last night... well, watched half of it (I fell asleep). Anywayz, here's what I think:

Video - 8
Wow. Beautiful. Everything looks great. Although it is a bit difficult for my roommates to determine what happened in the dark scenes, they also have poorer eyesight than me :P
Also, that eyelash-like hair on the screen DOES kinda get to you. I kept thinking I needed to clean my TV (I wonder how many people will check their TV cause of this?)

Audio - 8
Really good, but it's not as good as it *could* be...which is DTS 5.1 or higher..... still; it's great. The only problem I had with the sound was that sometimes I couldn't understand what these damn English people said.

Chea!

After watching the entire movie all that can be said is Awesome for a homemade TS this top of the line.

V:9.6 wouldve been a 9.9 if it wasnt for the lint/hair
A:9
M:9
I agree with the staff, nothing can be a 10,but this is as close as you're going to get.

Posted by bostones on 12-13-2005 07:27 PM:

I don't understand the few peeps that moan and groan so much ??????? perhaps it's just sour grapes. A great deal of effort as been made to get this ts out so quick and as far as I am concerned it's top marks to maVen.......and I have watched it all.

V 9

A 10

M 10

video is nice for a TS, somewhat grainy and dark. Audio is pretty average, I have heard better. Movie is just about the most boring 15 minutes I have watched.

V - 8
A - 6
M - 2
