-- Cars *XViD* - TELESYNC - maVen (http://forum.vcdq.com/showthread.php?threadid=70606)
Forgot to post this one...
Video 8 - Animations always look great. Someone walking across a couple of times, but otherwise good quality.
Audio 8 - some problems, but if the announcement goes across even the direct output, not much they can do. Didn't notice the synch issue or reversed sound, but considering most cams have mono...
movie 7 - great cast, original story, but preachy corny moral ending...

Keep up the best work MaVen,You are the BEST...... Thank YOU!!!!!!!
excellent quality "cam" with what sounds like direct audio..
8/8/8
check this out tho..
1) why would they still leave in the anti piracy ad in the begining?
2) why would they leave in the "xx xx please come to the concession stand".. its obvious they have & used a/v editing tools..
3) the shadowy "figure" on the begining of the 2nd disc, that just kind of hops & skips back to his seat.. slow it down & frame by frame it.. this "figure" isnt human.. its a shadowed computer generated graphic that they inserted into the rip.. again.. why would they do this?
theories, anyone?
V - 9 .. beautiful picture, especially for such an early release!!
A - 8 .. that little announcement in the begining of CD2 was a little annoying!!
M - 9 ... FREAKIN GREAT!!!!

Very watchable. Great Maven release. Just don't watch on standalone players or it'll be out of sync. Reverse channel problem as stated above also, but it didn't annoy me or my family!
the quality is excellent video 9 Audio 9 the second cd has a break in the movie which someone from the theatre ask for someone to come to the snack stand to get their kids
Wow
BIG props to Maven on this realease. I haven't seen a release this good for a few years for sure. Once it's on the television, you could easily mistake it for a retail DVD. I love you guys, and Pixar is simply the best.
didn't watch the maven xvid release, but rather someone that was nice enough to re-encode it to svcd (cce,multipass).
Anyhow, watched it on the TV tonight. This is easily the best TS I've seen in a long time. Colors are great, video sharp and audio was clear (the annoucement at the beginning of disc 2 over the theater loud speaker was hilarious to boot).
the movie was ok.. but the opening "short" killed me. Watched the short twice.

m: 7 (for the movie) / 9 (for the short).
Seeing all these xvid TS's pop up, time for another dvd player i guess. pisser, as this upconverting samsung is less than a year old.
Ok, i watched it last night. And i have to say, this is a fine TS. Audio is pretty good, a little noise, not perfectly clear, but pretty nice. Audio from Cars.TC.XviD-ZN is btw better, perfectly clear.
Video is damn nice, nearly no cropping, really sharp (also like the resolution of the rip!) colours are bit to bright imho, but i like it Way better than the oversaturated picture of Cars.TC.XviD-ZN...
Movie, well it was kinda fun, it looked awesome, but overall not that interesting.
Audio: 7/10
Video: 8/10
Movie: 6/10
My Kids loved it.
V=8
A=7
M=7
maVen has outdone themselves proving that they provide the best rips of movies!
V: 9
A: 9
M: 7 [didnt like it much]
Excellent maVen release! Perfect - Or at least it's above what I had expected. Great Pixar film: Comedy, cars, CGI, it's all good.
