picture is fine. sound is fine. movie is good. overall, very watcheable.. nice job by a-team. very nice release!

why does everyone fight, why does everyone get mad at someone if we say quality and video are horrible, isnt that why the forums here?

you dont exspect 2000 members to all agree saying this release rules, so if you get mad at someone saying it blows, thats plain pathedic, everyone is entitled to there own opinion.

and for people saying this release and previous a-team releases are the best, your on dope.

however i dont agree on all the cursing and fighting, you just make this group more popular in a sick way, as it is, all the members are in this thread complamenting themselves, wich is realy pathedic if you ask me. but to each his own.

when they release something great, i will tell the truth and post a great quality score, until then all my rating have been honest to my opinion, afterall we are not paid judges, so no one can realy be right, this isnt a profession.

p.s. west side homie, or gallonfrick,drink257 or whoever you are, just chill a bit, dont fight back, thats what they want, dont feed into them

watched the full thing. Not perfect in any aspect but sound was pretty decent and at least this thing has visible colors cough::ftf::cough:: but outdoing ftf isn't really something to brag about. I didn't mind the release and was watchable. Thanks 5/7/9 (I think the movie was pretty damn funny).

this is what happens when middle school and high schoolers post. you end up with intolerant people and they argue and insult each other over nothing.

this release is shitty statically and snowy

Everyone is not going to be like tcf or centrophy it's just not going to happen, esp with these fast rls. Ftf and A-Team happen to be groups that rls movies pretty fast and its obvious they're not forunate to obtain the source tcf does.

I believe ftf and a-team put more work than tcf because they got to cam the movies and encode them, which is contrary to tcf. All tcf got to do is get there clear source and rar it up and thats it not to knock them but thats the truth.

It's good to pass judgement on quality but try to do it accordingly. I just want to give props to a-team and ftf for rsl the newest movies for the viewers although it may not be the best of quality but there fast

MUCH PROPS TO FTF AND A-TEAM

KEEP DOING IT UP AND THE HATERS WILL ALWAYS BE HATERS

Posted by nokia on 09-16-2002 12:20 PM:

I disagree with u totally except for the fact that yes, these r fast rels but imo the only ones who care about fast rels r the ones who usually want to sell or show off to their friends. FTF & A-Team 99% of the time DON'T cam or encode the rels themselves. A friend of mine in FTF says the majority r bought from the streets of NYC and New Jersey from bootleggers but I do give them an effort for encoding (though they aren't very good at it, a group rel'd Baby Boy from the same tape awhile back just to prove that FTF's encoding techniques r inferior. Even there SVCD encoding skills r lacking when they get DVDRips). It's obvious that A-Teams rels r from asian silvers which all they have to do is click "GO" in CDRWin to create a release. Groups like C******* & UTi actually CAM and ENCODE there rels, so they're putting way more effort than A-Team or FTF. And as for TCF/TEG-VCD/VXr and other grps who r able to get good sources, it's more difficult for them to produce a good quality rip. They don't just get the source and rar it up like you said. I don't know if you've ever tried but capturing, having to worry about frame drops, pixelation, and other quality issues is ALOT harder than what these two groups have to do. It's hard enough for me to do good TVRips from digital. That's why you see good screeners and bad screeners such as the latest rip by EM. Well, I rate this 2/3/4 most of it is for effort.

stfu u dont know what your talking about

I hate to say this, but he is right for once.

Imaging and packing ready available vcds isnt exactly alot of effort.

Angry

Someone please tell me, How many retards does it take to encode a SVCD and release it as VCD? Well I guess the answer is lying somewhere in A-Team. Quality looks O.K. But you guy sneed to get your heads out of your asses.

Posted by CharlyTuna on 09-16-2002 11:15 PM:

anyone see the 1st page posts, people giving this an 8/8 lol

come on people, at least the people who say it stinks are honest, you see honesty is someone giving it an 8, no way in hell this is even close to an 8, you can barely see the actors faces.

cough"a-team meber"cough

Posted by Redemption on 09-16-2002 11:33 PM:

Hey Westside thats the best you could come up with, your a lying biased waste of space, and after the crap you've been spouting in this and other shitty sub-par A-Team releases, no one is going to take any notice of anything you say.

I very rarely do any capturing as its a pain in the arse, but i can rip a DVD and encode it to any format, at 4am while downing a bottle of vodka after a night out, you dont know what your talking about.

I downloaded this copy and its black and white..

any suggestions?

Posted by popimpology on 09-18-2002 10:18 PM:

crap

Okay, I'm not biased toward any group so all you peeps looking for an honest review need look no more...

I guess I'm a bit spoiled with watching nothing but svcd, xvid, and divx releases, but this pretty much stinks. The video quality is extremely fuzzy, pretty much looks like someone with a video camera at the movie theater like in the old days. It looks like an old 80's tv as well, pretty fuzzy. The audio is decent I guess, no loud pops or hisses. But I don't want to ruin the movie, so I'm not going to watch the whole thing. At best, this is watchable, but don't write home to mama over this.

4/6/4

Posted by Dr. Poo PhD on 09-19-2002 12:08 AM:

Watchable... 6/6/8. Thanks A-Team. Keep 'em coming...

Posted by Saywhut on 09-22-2002 06:00 PM:

the black side bars were a bit of a problem, so i stretched out the horizontal on my monitor and it looked fine...

average sound... a bit of hissing but not noticable or annoying.

i was excited to watch this movie but was dissapointed after viewing... its not anywhere near as funny as "freddy got fingered" which, in my opinion, is an underrated comedy classic....

6.5/6/5

Posted by Packet_Kiddie on 09-23-2002 01:40 PM:

Clearing up the confusion

Its funny how some people (with actual access to this stuff) voted this fairly (around 6/8/8) and others say its bad quality (voting more like 4/6/6, the movie score obviously influenced by a bad viewing experience).

I think part of the reason for this is that some "channels" [methods, I mean... methods... not channels as in somewhere one can go to download things ] have made available bad AVI versions of A-Teams source release. We've seen this time and again... Anyhow, I've seen the groups sample and real release: a solid 6/8/8. I checked out an AVI set and the quality was much less, so that's where my theory originates.

Or, it could just be the crack I smoked for breakfast.
