seriously people, get a clue and read this and realize that there isnt just right and wrong. i don''t expect anyone to read all of this, just read the part that you fit into (if you don't fit into a part, i respect you're opinion).

the people who hate svcd, prefer vcd, like smaller movies, like 1 disk movies etc:
1. ctp made it quite clear that they will do what they want with their releases, and i doubt they care about you're opinion unless MAYBE its constructive or true, which most of you're flames are not.
2.you must realize that CTP's source isnt a 320x280 file doubled to 640x480 to make it svcd, their source IS good enough to be svcd, and since svcd is bigger the quality will be improved even if very slightly.
3. just because you do not have a svcd complaint player doesnt mean the whole world should stop progressing for you, it isn't even hard to convert back to VCD.
4. just because VCD is the current standard for telesyncs, doesnt mean it is the right choice. Centropy are the only ones qualified to judge what their releases should come out as, so let them do it, they are the proffessionals!

the people who accuse other people of being ctp groupies, ctp "cock suckers", ctp members etc:
1. every group has groupies. from the proffesionalism i have seen from CTP in the past, i doubt they would use this tactic to win the fight on a damn forum that has no merit in anyway.
2. smart people have grown accustomed to quality standards from certain groups. UTI and TCF are known to release high quality cams and telesyncs, and people naturally expect their releases to be like all their other releases. If these people are satisfied with this quality, why should they NOT rate it highly? same thing goes with FTF and most new groups, who are known to release low(er) quality rips of movies and not much is expected from them (altho we do appreciate them). centropy is known to release the best quality releases (imo, altho they might be 2nd or 3rd in reality), and most people are very happy with the quality of these releases and of course will rate them high, because they are VERY SATISFIED WITH THEM, this does NOT make them a cock sucker or groupie.

the people who insult peoples sexuality, social life and knowledge over opinions:
1. there is nothing wrong with being gay, living in you're mothers basement or many of the other insults used by people with nothing valid to offer to the forum. Most people don't analyze their lives before they insult others.
2. Most people never even think that just because someone has a different opinion that they could be right. Most people are set in their way.
3. Everyone has different standards, someone might love the quality while you may hate it, just state that, say this isnt up to my standards, im giving it a 4, and respect that that person thinks it is a 9.

Another "Centropy Cocksucker"

Yeah, i gotta agree, this release was pretty fine for a Telesync in my opinion. Even thought the intro was alright (prefered the spidey intro tho). Hopefully few more of these might raise the bar for other TS releasing groups....Heres to hoping.

With a monster S-Video cable even this release is priceless on ur TV. Intro can be better the 10 Days was awesome but wtf does that matter lol. Yayyy to centropy, not just coz the film was v.good quality for a TS (if the quality noticbly better in SVCD then I say do it) but because I always love their intros to the films (I like to see what they come up with next) I wish more release groups would add a little intro of their own on the front.

Hello ,
I have d/l'ed Shanghai Knights SVCD - but the first disc stops at 47 minutes 17 seconds .
I have burned at 1 speed with Fireburner and 4 speed with nero . I have even re-d/l'ed the first disc . But it stops just as Jackie chan is talking to some guy about going to the far east " i hear you just came back from china " and then it pauses . The counter on my player keeps going.
I tried just burning the Mpeg with out the centropy advert before the film and nero said the mpeg was 47 minutes long .
But the first disc ends unlike any other disc . Usually it makes the title screen of my DVD player come up and goes "ping"
when i stop the disc , the counter says 60 minutes - usually says how long the film is - i know the actual cd is 77 minutes or there abouts . Until I d/l the 2nd disc and watch it i can't see whether the first disc ends where it is supposed to ?
Anyone else had this trouble or is the disc i d/l'ed corrupt from the site ?
