Am I the only non-UKer that is constantly having to rewind and rewind to figure out wtf David Tennant is saying?

His faked Brit accent over his Scot, when he speaks fast, I find myself asking what the hell did he just say?!

There have been a couple times I couldn't figure it out, and just simply kept on watching.

Canadian here.

So, we got The Master...and the Dr lost his Tardis. Again. The fucker really must live in a barn cos he's always leaving the damn door open.

One thing though...didn't we have (in a previous episode/series) something about the Tardis having a consciousness/lifeforce that wouldn't let anyone else fly/nick it? (Maybe I just imagined it...the sticky icky (supposedly thai, but doesn't smell/smoke/taste it) that's doing the rounds at the moment makes me remember things that haven't happened...yet )

Wasn't too impressed with the climax to the series. Someone said earlier this thread that RTDavies should leave the writing to someone else. I agree.

His storylines aren't bad as such, they just don't grip me as others have.

I think Freema has been retained, hope so, she's the first assistant I've liked since the bird (aussie?) with the impossibly big tits when I was a kid.

It was pretty disappointing. The final storyline started out OK with "Utopia" (aside from the RTD gay references), but the second and third installments just weren't that interesting.

And I thought the whole Doctor/Gollum thing was a bit crap.

Pop star Kylie Minogue is to have "a major lead role" in this year's Christmas special of Doctor Who.

The star will join David Tennant for Voyage of the Damned, an hour-long show following on from the current series, which ended in the UK on Saturday.

"This will be the most ambitious and best Christmas episode yet," promised executive producer Russell T Davies, who has also written the script.

Filming is scheduled to begin in Cardiff later this month.

Wonder if Christopher Eccleston will be in it as well? IIRC there were a couple of Titanic references during his stint as the Doctor.

Would just like to say i have enjoyed most if not all episode of the new doctor who. Like most people have said it seems to bring out the inner child in me. I really wish they didn't have to change the Doctor so soon (cya Chris). My favorite episodes are with the Daleks. I hope this series can last a couple more seasons. Mucous respek.

It couldn't have been Sally Sparrow, she was neither a common chav or an ethnic minority.

Her only other option was to turn Lesbian, that would probably have got her the role.

I cant find the link but I read on the bbc website that RTD thinks that the last series of dr.who was to dark, he is going to make the next one more comedy like.

what a fucking tit, this was one of the best dr.who series ever ever EVER!

thats got to be why he's got that stupid "am i bov'erd" cunt from the last christmas special been a new companian.

the more I hear about this coming series the shitter it sounds like its going to be.

also... http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/entertainment/6976758.stm

dr.who is going to be taking a gap year, no series for 2009, just 3 specail episodes then back to normall in 2010 for 2 years before we all die when the world as we know it ends in 2012

You could be almost right. Apparently Peter Davison is going to make a guest appearance under the premise that with all the time travelling the doctor does, it is feasible that he would one day cross the path of one of his previous incarnations.

For those who don't know. Peter Davison was Doctor Who in the early 80's.
