Just got around to watching this and thought it was very very watchable. IMO this was way better than the workprint which I thought was terrible. Didn't really notice the out of sync issues and I could live with the over cropping. Not a bad job all round seeing as it was free!

8/7/8

I loved the flick and while I don't think it deserves to be nuked, I'm kinda glad it was.

This movie deserves/needs to be done better.

I dont belive some of you people giving this such mad ratings, If you watch it on a nice tv and turn the brightness up a little its perfect, i burned it up and watched it on a big nice tv and it was perfect. Thank you again TUN, because this version OWNS the workprint.

Looks better on a tv.

8/7/8

We need more groups like TUN.
Keep up the good work.
Thanks for the alternative to those huge clocks.

My rating:

8/8/8.5

This movie has some real dark scenes that wont look good until the movie comes out on DVD.

Talking no problems....

I had no problems with sync issues on the mpegs or the svcd (when burned).....

However, I only burn at 16x regardless of CD-R rating and Burner speed, used TDK CD-Rs, and NEC DVD Burner to burn the SVCDs, checked CD2 and CD3, NO ISSUES on a Norcent DVD Player....

V - 8 (after some minor tweaks)
A - 7
M - ?

I converted to DVD and filtered the video a bit, it looks much better now. For anyone who wants to do the same...in TMPGEnc I used the color correction filter with +20 Brightness and -75 Red to improve the video. Dark scenes are more viewable now and everyone's skin isn't pink.

7.5/8/8 DANKA TUN!

Joined all three Mpegs and TMPenc'd using VBR II , encoded 16:9 NTSC @ fullscreen (Keep Aspect Ratio) took 6 hours, came out nearly perfect. Audio dont desync till the end of the movie and its hardley noticable.

Awesome

I'm new here, so I don't know how the rating system works, but just to confirm, the sync problems aren't bad at all.

fireworksordie,
I'm sorry but I have to ask, what exactly do you meen by
"sync problems aren't bad at all"

Posted by nickels on 05-29-2005 08:12 PM:

I have an SVCDTODVD rerip of the original Tun Svcd files.

7/7/9

Video is dark, but it's not terrible, and some scenes are bright so it in not noticeable.
Audio is slightly out of sync at times, but not that big of a deal. Sometimes overall movie/sound is a tad faster then normal, so people sound like they sucked in a bit of helium.

Overall the movie is very watchable despite minor issues.
