Did Tenerife years ago (Play De Las Americas)... It was possibly my best holiday ever. Still cuntloads of people trying to sell you fake watches on the beachfront, but yep, I concur, tis better than GC.

The main thing that really ground my nuts in GC was one day when we we're sat eating a meal, a shit-hawker came in selling wank jewellry and watches - the dipshit fuckhole tried to flog some shite to the ex and when she declined he tried to sell me a watch... Despite the fact that the watch I was already wearing was more expensive than the combined value of his watches. All of this was done in full view of the restaraunt owner who did fuck all to get this jerk away from our table. Eventually I had to act like a dick just to make him fuck off...

... Avoid Gran Canaria like the plague, it's full of bastards, although all of the ex-pats we met were fantastic.
