Great CAM, one of the best i've seen, Pic is amazing, alittle bright, but for a CAM u can't expect it to b perfect. I enjoyed the 2 or 3 times where he either, knocks camera down, or tries to hide it. After each time this happens u get a nice laugh, but the readjusting of the camera is a little anoying, but whatever, all around good release. Great work UTi,

8/7/8

quality is great for a cam, sound aint bad either, only complaint is the camera gets covered a couple times.

Posted by misfits138 on 12-25-2002 07:32 AM:

well i went ahead and downloaded it... the camera man sucks bad! he drops the camera like 4 times making this release pretty annoying to watch... i say wait for something better.

lol... this release is as clear as a dvd screener? do you rub your tv screen down with dog shit before you watch dvd or something?

What are you, nuts? You must have slipped and split your head open on a broken CD with a UTi release burned on it. Either that or, like misfits138 said, you watch DVD's on a TV that's been pissed on or something. Sure, this is a very decent release, but it is definitely not DVD Screener quality.

damnit.. i need to get rich so i can send vcdquality money to host movie samples (non-jpgs and shit) cuz there are too many people judging off the jpgs..

yes.. those JPGs look as good as a DVDSCR.. sadly, the actual movie doesnt..

Posted by Medievalchimp on 12-25-2002 08:42 AM:

Lol dont you guys love how over time the ratings get lower and lower? I guess we should all wait a few days until people actually get the release to check on the publics opinon on the quality

Video: 8 - Watchable. Cam fell over for a sec. LOL
Audio: 7 - A bit hollow. Can hear audience/cam'er at times.
Movie: 10 - Awesome.

Awesome release. Good to tide us over until a dvdscr is leaked.

tcf were the ones who rls'd that killer SVCD of LOTR:FOTR last time? before the movie even came out? Heh, cool... Come on TCF we want a SVCD/DVD SCR!!!

Posted by Trenton_1 on 12-25-2002 11:06 AM:

I got both l(UTI and TCF) ike most people have at this point. I think UTI's picture is OK nothing to brag about, but the sound killed the movie. I think TCF had them on audio and the audio is half the movie so if you already have the TCF keep it. The JPG's they used were the best picture quality in the whole movie the colors are not that vivid in their release. PROPS to UTI for all their releases!

No, they released it in January of 2002 (this year), movie was out in winter of 2001.

Basically, we're pretty sure a DVD.Scr will leak at some point down the road, but people need to be patient (even though that is hardly a word to use with some people on this forum).
I mean, if by March 2003 you don't get your DVD Screener that you seem to think release groups are sitting on, then the "come on" posts are with some merit.

When Potter 2 DVD.Scr got released as Divx first, I was wondering what happened with the SVCD. Thankfully UTi's NFO (always a good read), stated just what we needed to know: the SVCD just took a bit longer because you don't want to screw something like that up.
So hopefully we'll see an SVCD of TTT's DVD Screener when it comes out, but if a divx/xvid of it gets released first, I hope people here don't go crazy.

A great release, I saved watching it till Christmas!
Picture quality is very good, as mentioned the camera gets hidden/dropped a couple of times, but dont freak you can still follow the film fine and they sort it very quickly. The picture is a bit bright at times and a bit washed out at other times as well, but not to any extreme amount There are also a couple of abrupt cuts but I've no idea how long is cut, my guess is very little eg the Rohan ride into helms deep first time and suddenly the three members of the fellowship are already there.
The sound was fine to me, my wife thought the background noise, in the film, was drowning out some dialogue but i didn t notice this, you also hear some strange creaking at parts, maybe cameraman handling the camera?
On a whole though this release is well worth a download, I'm glad I did, nothing major to upset the watch for me.

7/7/? I dont think my opinion on quality of the movie itself matters.

after watching all 3cds

ive watched it , and its real good, burned it to vcd, 1 problem - the sound is perfect picture pretty good, apart from the fact the pratt drops the camera halfway through CD1 so any1 can notice its an internal camera and he takes 30seconds to striaghten it again, which made me feel dizzy watching hehe - thankfully, its not in an action part of the film so phewy! -he also coffs loudly twice, and every1 laughs when gimli tell legolas " you could of chosen a better spot" (in CD3)..apart from that its lovely, so i suggest d/l it cos its the best of the 4 available
