well for people like me who put the movie on dvd anyway, the extra bitrate is appreciated as there is more than enough room for it. but alas i do see the good in what VCD is doing, trying to please both sides with two different size releases. only i dont think that many people complained about an extra cd given that has been the trend with longer movies for months now. with the sudden change you have to wonder if maybe a smaller release is just intended to help put out a release quicker. sorry for the bit of skepticism, but the sudden change just doesnt seem to make much sense. but anyway, i hope the 3cd version comes out soon so i can kick off the 4th with what i am hearing is a great sequel!

It's as good as it gets, really--a tiny bit of pixelation--not really worth mentioning. My old Cablevision connection didn't give as good a picture/sound. I will definitely BUY the DVD when it comes out. And I can't wait until Spider-man 3.

Video seems kind of cropped and also a bit dark, that's why a bit low score for that. Audio is very nice as usual. Haven't seen the movie yet and don't know if I will.

After reading some of the post here, it seems peeps will never be satisfied. I guess that is what makes the world go around. This was one of the best TS that I have ever seen. No choppy video (must be another corrupt version), nothing missing and sound was on point. Any better than this and you would have some little kid kicking your seat. Great Job VideoCD !!!!!

Picture and Audio are both good.

Before you go picking fault just remember this was shot with a cam, and audio collected via a deaf aid/ear phone jack.

VideoCD and others put their neck on the line to bring us these releases, I'm always happy with VideoCD stuff

actually they get their audio source from dts disks, but anyways, just thought id post because this has to get a 9 for video, i mean there are definitely artifacts, clearly seen on my television, but you really cant ask for much for out of a camcorder, its gonna be dark in dark spots, but i think that this was watchable in dark scenes, and as usual its very crisp video. audio is flawless once again, and just a day after premiere, even centropy didnt release till a few days after premiere. i think centropy did a better job on spiderman; however, this is quality stuff considering the security being hightened in theaters.

video cd are the leaders in the scene at the mo and that is apparent. like the intro its like centropys a couple a years ago

First off, great job VideoCD. They are cranking out releases faster than shit thru a goose...
Watched this on my standalone dvd player, good video and excellent audio.
A few video artifacts as previously mentioned but I can't complain...

Only to Inform the Un-Informed

Everyone has been asking over and over about a 3cd internal of spiderman2... And it is getting annoying answering over and over so i'll lay it out for you. The rls is labeled internal and vcdquality usually doesn't post internal realses. This is most likely why it hasn't been posted on the site. Now the real reason for the internal is because it is near to the same quality as the 2cd, but not the same source and has some changes.
º - Angle on right top corner has been fixed.
º - Colors has been adjusted with more precision.
º - More sharpness.
º - No mosaic green block
º - Encoded 4 pass with CCE @ 2465kbit
To clear some things up-->(From the nFo)
This is the 3CDs copy of Spiderman 2 as internal.
If you didn't see the movie yet, its worth getting the extra cd,
If you saw it, and really liked the film and want to see it again,
again, it is worth getting this one. If you think the movie was ok, keep with the 2cds copy. This copy has been made for those who want extra quality, and
those perfecsionist who want the best.
For those who want to get this and create a dvdr, our guys are
doing something special for this release, an internal version of
this as dvdr, with customs menu, multiple audio ( english 5.1,
french 5.1 & german 5.1 ), video improvement with a higher bitrate and some little funny extra for you.

Since the rls is internal i doubt many will be able to get ahold of this rls for awhile so don't bother asking about where to get it, anyway if u did the mods should ban u.
I hope this cleared a few things up, later all.
