I'm disappointed that Helo became a traitor and sabotaged the plan.

But if the plan had worked, then there would be no more show.

So

when i look at the episode guide for this season it seems to continue week by week, does this mean the will be no mid season break or is it just an error on tv.com

i dont know how i would be able to handel a bsg mid season break, im already waiting for lost, sg-1, atlantis & sopranos........

best series ever

As far as I know, most cable/satellite networks are not flaming cunts like regular U.S. network TV.

Posted by baha on 11-25-2006 12:22 PM:

WTF! CUNTS!

No episode last night. Bitches. I don't give a shit about holidays and festivities in the US! I want my BSG.

Wasn't overly impressed with E8, a plot that didn't take this series forward in any way. Brief overview plotline for E9 (airing Dec 1) from IMDB looks to be a backward facing one as well. Not shocked that the writers need to take stock (and deliver some off-the-shelf material) after the first 7 episodes this season rocketed forward at cheek-rippling pace.

Still the best series on TV...but these mid-season hiatus in storyline that occur in all US TV series*, even when the show is being aired, does bug the hell out of me

*That's what made 24 so good for me, there was just no break (at least in the original series), the plot just kept getting thicker and the characters even more screwed.

you was right. it was the most disapointing episode in the world ever

I thought this weeks episode was awesome

BSG will have its mid season break after the 15th of December, episode 11, and will return on january 25th. Yep, it'll air on sundays from then on out, a much better timeslot if you ask me!

Taking bets if episode 11 ends in a nerd-tastic cliffhanger that has us clamouring for a whoooole month :|.

I fucking hate mid season breaks, but atleast its not for to long, just over a month! nowhere near as bad as sopranos, lost or stargate

I agree. I wonder if it was done like it was to give us all the remaining webisodes that weren't going to be put out due to the writer strike thingy.

At the very least, I thought that it was the start of a close to quite a bit of the New Caprica story line. Now we can move on again

OK, this episode has to be one of the best bits of character development ive seen in ages.

******SPOILERS*******

In 40 mins it completely manages to turn Kats character around from someone who I was completely indifferent about and we had only seen as an aggressive character to someone I was sad to see go by the end of the episode. I also got a lot of the vibes from the very first ep of the series "33" and the whole being pushed to the extreme was done exceptionally well.

Also something I didnt pick up on but pointed out on the tv.com forums,

quote:
But, more importantly, there was the picture. In Scar, Kat was trying to figure out the name of fellow pilot Riley's girlfriend. Riley had recently died, and Kat couldn't remember his girlfriend's name. That's a theme throughout Scar, and Kara tells Kat that Kat is afraid that she'll wind up just like Riley's girlfriend. A picture that no one really remembers.

Well, Kara put the picture of Kat right next to the picture of Riley's girlfriend. But Kat won't end up forgotten. She saved the Faru Sadin at the cost of her own life.

This weeks episode is 10/10. I cant wait for next weeks mid season cliffhanger. The eye of jupiter stuff set it up nicely.

This show is the best out there, hands down.

Kinda catching up a bit on this series and just watched 03 09. Superb. BSG has really matured and come of age. It has seriously gone up in my estimation and anyone who can't see the quality is a dickhead. Think I'll watch e09 again before going on to e10. It was that good.

S'funny that, I agree that the shows have gotten better, the first 5 or 6 of S3 were excellent. The next few weren't as good...and I'm embarrassed to say I forgot what happened in E10...actually, just gonna fire it up and I'll be back to finish what I was typing...ahh, yeah, the ex-junkie Thrace-hating pilot one...yeah, I thought the most recent ones were the weakest of this season, not really taking the plot forward so much, recovering old ground with a few twists - not always a bad thing, but I was loving the break-neck pace that the story was going at before them. Having said that, this season as a whole has been one of the best of any series I've ever watched.

The "S'funny" part (above) is because just a few weeks ago I got hold of the original mini and S1 DVD's and started watching them again: if you can remember back that far the entire new series is opened up by a human delegate waiting in a space station for a pre-arranged annual meeting with a Cyclon delegate who hasn't shown for 40years...then the sound of a shuttle docking...then the steady clunking of Cyclon metallic feet approaching...the door whooshes open and in walks Number Six in a shocking red number flanked by two Cyclons...and following brief dialogue snogs the shit out of the human delegate...total hard on! The entire series has been awesome!

Anyway, been seeing offers of S3 in HD. Anyone seen them? Are they truly HD? Reason I ask is that I've seen complaints in more places than one that the shows are not available in HD. And, to be honest, the S1 DVD's aren't of very high quality. They're clear enough, but I'd say they were of lesser quality than a contempory movie release. (I'd guess they were upscaled from a lower quality source.)

Cool! Can't wait to see Galactica do the drop to 50m above New Caprica and the subsequent Pegasus ride-to-the-rescuw in HD

Yes, This.

I noticed they moved it from Friday to Sunday? Wonder why? I imagine the core audience is there, But as for the gen public it isn't there. I bet Season 4 will be the end. I hope this isn't a plee to boost ratings, Because Sunday is a horrible day for tv.

I started getting into the show a bit, It's not bad. I just hope they don't cancel it. Well it's better to go out on top than to string the audiance along season after season.
