All this horse racing talk reminds me of Derek & Clive's horse racing sketch.

"And as they settle down it's Big Tits from Vagina with The Prick tucked in behind these two.

Then comes the blinkered Buttocks being pressed by The Poof."

I'm not sure but I think I'll draw-up the shortlist in private with the admin and mods then you guys get to vote on those. Possibly including bizzare "tests" for the competitors to try and win favour with the forum... Don't hold your breath though

Dear Neversoft,

What are the origins of the ongoing rivalry between Lancashire and Yorkshire?

I hope you're joking! What the cock do they teach in history class nowadays?

It stems from the "War of the Roses" - which isn't only a shit movie from 1989, it was also a feudal time in the 15th century when the House of York and House of Lancaster decided to kick each other's arses.

I could go on at length but I wont, I'll refer you to here instead.

N.B. It's a well-established fact that people from Yorkshire are better looking and better fighters than people from Lancashire. It should also be noted that people from Lancaster are unable to power-wank due to their mis-shapen thumbs.

Dear Neversoft,

Whats a good first car to start driving in seeing as I need to get on the road ASAP now.

Also who are the best insurance providers and whats a decent rate per driving lesson

Posted by Neversoft on 03-31-2006 03:38 PM:

1. Something shit and cheap! Really, buy a total wreck and run the fucker into the ground... Maybe a Nissan Micra or a Metro

2a. www.confused.com

2b. Around here, it's about £15p/h for shit instructors and £25p/h for decent ones. You may also want to consider a "crash course" that lasts a week and guarantees a pass. Why not check www.ukdriving-schools.co.uk

FYI: I don't drive

im also looking at similar things, but i think i can help you somewhat

for a car, as long as its around 1.1 or 1.2 and something small you cant go wrong (e.g citroen saxo, ford fiesta, fiat punto etc). im going for a ford fiesta zetec somewhere around S or T reg myself...

dunno about insurance providers, but i've heard tesco are good, and so's that quotemehappy.com one, forgot the name.

a decent rate per driving lesson should be slightly under, or around £20 i think. the AA charge £22 but thats too much imo.

hope all this helps, but yeah, Ask Neversoft...

encoding software is the equivalent of The 404 going on a diet and walking thru the door. takes longer and sometimes more skill, but ultimately worth it.

afraid not. during my history lessons (1984-1987) all we learnt was crop rotation and bloody history of farming, not of the important stuff, like how we kept getting pasted (it pains me to say that) by you tykes, although i reckon we should bury the hatchet and invade Wales.

Can you speak Yorkshireish?

quote:
The Wars of the Roses, with their heavy casualties among the nobility, would usher in a period of great social upheaval in feudal England and ironically lead to the fall of the Plantagenet dynasty. The period would see the decline of English influence on the Continent, a weakening of the feudal power of the nobles and by default a strengthening of the merchant classes, and the growth of a strong, centralized monarchy under the Tudors.

At least we are both responsible for creating the working classes and producing a monarchy with shitty pudding bowl haircuts

two questions:

When mixing chocolate milk, aka milk and hershey's chocolate syrup, which should be added to the cup first, the milk or the syrup. AND, does the recipe change when a chocolate powder is substituted?

secondly, when do i get my damned book forum?

It doesn't matter. See the Commutative Law of Addition.

which would be great if it was math and not a recipe (albeit very simplistic, it is a recipe). even in non-cooking circles, recipes are more than add this or add that. ask anyone thats ever mixed concrete or mortar, you could fill the bucket with water and then dump in the mix, or you could fill the bucket with mix then add water, or you could not struggle with it and mix a little bit of each at a time.
