Review(2001)-Fulltime Killer with Andy Lau

Here is another one of the Hong Kong imports to make the US shores in this shoot em up action flick that makes The Replacement Killers another action movie with Chow Yun Fat and Mira Sorvino look lame.

Fulltime Killer features the story of a pair of assassins, a loner named O(Takashi Sorimachi), and a leather-pants wearing younger gunslinger name Tok (Andy Lau). Tok has a younger brother named C7 (Teddy Lin) whose seizures have rendered him unreliable as the script of the movie clearly shows.

Whoever wrote this movie, must have worked in a video store, and simply just stayed in action section, as we see in the form of actress Kelly Lin (voted as one of Asia's 10 most sexiest women of 2002), who plays Chin, a video store clerk who cleans O's apartment when he is away, and plays with his guns as if she were a female killer.

A lot of Fulltimer Killer focuses on the competition of the two mixing elements of other movies, Assasins, Robert Rodriguez's El Mariachi, and John Woo's, The Killer, all more superior that this mindless action film directed by Johnny To, Ka-Fai Wai, 2 of Hong Kongs best action directors.

I liked Fulltime Killers for the amount of action in pokes into this movie, and hope it catches on here big time.

Fulltime Killers is not rated, But has graphic violences to fill up 2 movies, as well as strong Language and brief nudity, wont say who gets naked though. hehe

My rating for the plot gets a 4 out of 10.
Action: 10 out of 10.

Overall: 7 out of 10.
