Well i'll be damned. I thought this DVDR would be 2 disc, but apparently it isn't. Video is CCE'd and all extras are ripped..go buy this one. Anyways, nice rip guys (better in WS though) - great movie too.

9/10/?

freezing on chapter skip on mydvds35 & not playing at all on my dmre20 if someone could confirm my findings & come up with a fix

I also noticed a problem between chapters the DVD would freeze on my JVC DVD player. I would have to FWD it repeatedly. the movie quality is good, but something is definetley wrong with the dvd.

Subs

No problem playing this on the Sony standalone, however subs for the "natives" are not hardcoded in. Had to turn subs on and off a lot in this one. Movie is pretty campy but still sorta fun.

I really enjoyed this film at the cinema, and have been looking forward to a good release, as all the TS versions etc were pretty ropey.
Someone has definitely fucked up in the encoding department as far as I am concerned........major problems with chapters (freezing and pixellation at chapter changeover) and also the subs were pretty fucked up. If there is a fix of some sort for this. I would like to know about it as this was one of my favourite movies of this year, despite the lukewarm reviews!

WTF? This won't play on my Pioneer.

Ah well.

...

yeah this is pretty terrible, I download the svcd dvd, it has no subs, so i grab this dvdr and it's even worse, not only does it have decoding problems on my 3 dvd players, like the previous posts, it locks up on chapters as well, terrible terrible, what a shame for such a great film, you'd figure whoever ripped this would at least check the dvdr....

Same problems here. Skips chapters, etc. Damn shame. Maybe someone will release the WS DVD version, since the DIVX is out now.
