cue file wont burn with Nero (Line 1 Error)

I am having trouble with the ECW DVD that is out. I have lurked here for awhile but am completely stumped on this

Here is how the cue file is in notepad

FILE "C:\w4f-rafoecw-cd1.bin" BINARY
TRACK 01 MODE2/2352
INDEX 01 00:00:00
TRACK 02 MODE2/2352
INDEX 01 00:06:56

Can anyone help me out here? Very much appreciated

Well, before I answer your problem... Ditch Nero for burning images, it's wank. Try Alcohol 120% or Burnatonce.

Now, to fix your thingy!!

Open the .cue file in Notepad and remove the C:\ from line one. Either that or move the .bin file to C:\

The .cue should then look like this...

code:
FILE "w4f-rafoecw-cd1.bin" BINARY TRACK 01 MODE2/2352 INDEX 01 00:00:00 TRACK 02 MODE2/2352 INDEX 01 00:06:56

Basically, it's sloppyness on behalf of the release group, they should check their damned cuefiles.

I still get the error line 1 error and the cue looks like this now

FILE "w4f-rafoecw-cd1.bin" BINARY
TRACK 01 MODE2/2352
INDEX 01 00:00:00
TRACK 02 MODE2/2352
INDEX 01 00:06:56

ok, make sure the name of your .bin files matches that specified in line one and it's in the same folder. If not, either rename the file or edit line one.

BurnAtOnce is usually capable of fixing fuct up cue files.

You could also point CueMaker at the bin file, tell it what sort of ISO it is and it'll cough-out a new cue file.

The software is free, so I've attached it.

you tried changin the .cue file in notepad from the "C:\filename" to its actual location on your hdd? "C:\real path"

i'd check your image to make sure it doesnt suck...

use D-Tools to mount your image and try playing it in your dvd player...

if that doesnt work, no amount of cue fixing will help you..
