PROBLEM--Constantine.SVCD.TS-SAOSiN

I recently download Constantine.SVCD.TS-SAOSiN,but am having problems viewing the video. I suspect it to be a codec problem, but am unsure how to procede. First off, I extracted the data in the .rar fils.....which became .bin files for cd's 1 and 2. Afterword I exracted the image of both cd's via WinISO. Then I tried to view the video file in the folder with no succes. The file plays in windows media center, but the image is not clear(i can tell it's Constantine,but a ton of green and other colors are in the video as well making it imposible to see. Also, the audio is very "peeky" as in, i can't hear the words at all, but sharp pitches. Any suggestions? BTW: Installed Divx Player, just in case and UnInstalled it with AceMega Codec Pack 6.04 Pro.

Burn the bin/cue files with alcohol 120% and watch on DVD player, or download VLC media player and open the bin file.

I've had similar problems extracting via WinISO and UltraISO in the past... Use VCDGear to extract the mpg instead or simply mount the image in Daemon Tools and grab it from the folder on the mounted CD.

can you....

Burn both bin. files on on dvd-r....and will it work on a regular dvd-player or does it have to be a dvd player that plays vcd?

Ive never heard of being able to burn both bin/cue images to dvd and having it work. If its possible, someone will let me know =p. There are players that will play raw mpeg2 files from a dvd...so all you have to do is use vcdgear to grab the mpg files from the images then burn as data disc...if you dont have a player that plays raw mpegs then youll have to create an svcd dvd which you can do with dvdlab. Those will play on MOST players if its not too old and plays svcd.

ive used isobuster religiously for extracting my mpg's. Rarely (and I stress that) have I had problems w/ it. But, hey Just a suggestion!

If you just want to burn the extracted cue/bin image, use Alcohol 120% and you cant go wrong.

I know its cheating, but if you want to put it onto a DVD, use SVCD2DVD. It basically just uses the header trick to fool the dvd player into playing non compliant files , although this is only any good if your stand alone player actually plays svcds. Quite a handy piece of software,there is no re-encoding, therefore saving time, you can also add menus with or without audio, and insert chapters.
