winrar errors need help !

Hi all,
I have be cool dvdscr ,it is broken up into 3 parts, all parts are in rar files, the first 2 extracted fine but the 3rd came up with the error "CRC failed file is curropt" when its at 99% extracting, any help would be very grateful as this is about the 4th time i have downloaded this and have no sucess ,thanks

Either from a different source, or use the PAR files to repair it. It did come with PARs, yes? That's what those are there for.. repairing corrupted archives, I've used them dozens of times with zero problems.

If it doesn't have PAR files but it does have an SFV file, grab an SFV Checker and test the archive... At least you'll know which rar file is fucked then, so you could grab it from a different souce, like one of the "incomplete" IRC channels.

Yep... Open the .sfv in Notepad and you'll see it's little more than a list of the files and their corresponding checksum.

i have been havin this problem with alot of re-encodes i have been gettin lately

If you are getting a lot of corrupt archives then maybe your resuming your tar file from different source's. Always resume from same source (same channel) you have been downloading from. Or maybe your source is crap.
