Limited = a limited release is a movie that opens in less than 250 movie theaters.

What Do All Those Terms (internal, telecine, etc) Mean ??

The witty answer would be...

"It means you have to watch the movie internally by shoving the CD's up your arse"

but that's obvious, so here's the real answer...

It basically means "For group members only, do not spread this release" normally because theirs something wrong with it. It's often used to prevent releases from being nuked as well (the "nuked" question has been answered before, so don't!) because if it wasn't marked as "Internal", spread normally and then it turned out the release had issues, it would be nuked.

I knew that page "existed" but the link pointing to it must be buried... Whereabouts on VCDQ is that page linked? Cos it needs to be more prominent.

::EDIT:: Just noticed you get it if you click a link on the main page in the "Type" column.

there isnt usually something "wrong" with internal releases at all.....whatever gave you that idea.....

internal is basically for group members only, or if the previous release from another group was a little dodgy but not worthy of a proper or a rerip, or indeed a nuke, then an internal is a nice way to get around it.

bad choice of phrase maybe but I meant it's often used as a means to avoid a nuke... Be it cos of the quality, cos it's a dupe or whatever. Most "Internals" are that way simply because it would be nuked otherwise.
