what is the sorce of this films? basically downloaded them on torrent sites which i have other films.
are they re encoded crap? i've reencoded it like all other films i have done but for herbie fully loaded and green street it gone like that. i use isobuster to extract mpeg from bin and cues then use divxtodvd to convert to dvd format
are they in bin & cue format? yes they was.
are they avi's or mpegs? when extracted from bin and cue they were mpeg
what are you watching them on? dvd player (when burned to dvd disk
do you have the right codecs? ??? All i know is other films i done have turned out alright.

hi scott i have had this same problem before try running it through winavi first then burn with nero express if they dont reconfigure nero will say dvd may be unplayerble if that happens
run the .vobs through divxtodvd then use dvdshrink it will beable to open it and it will reconfigure and burn with nero
if this helps post a reply

do what with it in winavi? sorry mate aint rly used that program? cheers Scott
ok first get winavi i use 5.8 open winavi and click -to dvd load your movie and click convert when its finshed open nero and try to burn them sometime nero wont beable to put them in the right order so the dvd woont work if that happens load all the .vobs into dvixtodvd this way it wont make the video small after that had finished you can open the file in dvd shrink and that will burn the movie for you with nero ..avoila this process takes a few hours to complete start to finish but if you want the film you wont mind

There are better ways to do this...
look into using dvd2avi in conjunction with AviSynth and CCE. dvd2avi will demux and save an audio file (automatically joins the audio from multiple CD's together)... you can use AviSynth to load the .d2v project into CCE and re-encode the video (go to avisynth.org for lots of help on using avisynth)....
use any of a million programs to resample the audio (to 48k instead of 44.1k)
then use any authoring program (like DVDLab or TMPG DVD Author) to mux the re-encoded video and the audio back together.
it's not a one-click method, though!!!
But it's never failed me. Ever.
or... burn the image to cd, watch movie... one click happiness.
yes yes i know, single dvd, dont have to get off the couch, but you arent gaining any quality by converting, you are only losing it, and the time it takes you to convert everything far outweighs the 20 seconds you get off the couch for. i use it as a piss break/ step out for a smoke / spank the wifey berak.
