Official Transporter Movie Review
When I first saw this movie on the schedule, I simply went huh? There was no previews, no nothing, but as I did my research, I saw that maybe this movie deserved mentioning.
From the producer of La Femme Nikita and The Professional comes an action packed film which stars Jason Stratham, whom we last saw in Snatch. He plays ex Special Forces Operator Frank Martin, living a quiet life along the French Mediteranean. He makes his living by delivering "packages" to destinations, with no questions asked.
He has three rules that he lives by, rule #1; never change the deal; rule #2; he doesn't want to know whom he works for; and rule #3; he doesn't want to know whats in the "package", thus creating his nickname of "The Transporter".
With his latest deal, he is asked to delivery a package by a man, known only as "Wall Street". While on delivery, Martin realizes his "package" is moving, and upon investigation, discovers it to be a beautiful, gagged, oriental woman.
His "rules" goes out the door, as he is forced to help the woman take on the bad guys in this fast paced action film.
I found the Transporter to be exhilirating and exciting, what it lacks for in plot, makes up for it in the action the film exhibits.
This is a "matinee" film, action buffs can certainly enjoy, as the action blew me out of the theatre.
The Transporter is rated 'PG-13' for language and violence.
My rating an 8 out of 10. or a 'B'

Sounds cool...I liked that guy from Snatch too...so I wanna see this.
Edit: Whoops I didn't know there was already a version out. Must not have caught my attention, I'm gonna go find it now if I can :P
I thought this movie sucked.
there is no way that the asian chic would have stuck around after being stuck in a trunk of a car an tied to a chair. All the characters sucked. and so did the acting for that matter.
Luc besson has become very disapointing recently.
its pretty sad when the european film-makers start to copy from hollywood bullshit.
Im still waiting for taxi 2 to finish downloading, so im going to give Besson another chance but i would not waste my $$ on a trip to the theatre to see this shit
the final battle and the main villian (the white guy) were lame... but everything else was pretty good, nothing like Leon or anything but it was on.

I can't picture Turkish(guy from Snatch), as an action star...just doesn't compute for me
