very nice quality as always... not the best picture in teh world, but clear and very good still. the sound is also good. 8/8/x no major defects in sample.
Nice looking release by Centropy. Seemed a little dark at the top and bottom of the video... brighter in the middle.... sound was good. Keep in mind, i'm basing this on the sample.

Hmmm. Not bad for CTP. Pretty fast too. Most of their releases take about a week to get out. This was just 3 days. Pic is ok, if not a lil dull, sound sounds good. They did crop a bit out of this (I saw it in theatres). No biggie.

I don't know what some peeps are watching, but the last two rlses by ctp have been their best in a long time....and that's tough for them to do. They usually have excellent quality, but these last two are really near perfect in my view, especially Bad Boys 2. I had no sync issues, all I got was great picture and sound. Best of all, they seem to have figured out the angle problem. 
Same with this rls, no angle, great pic, sweet sound. Only bad thing could be the darkness at edges, but it's probably just the scene that's being shown. No doubt this is the rls to get. 9/9/?
You can't compare an animated movie with real movie. Animated movies are more vibrant and show better colors. Every color is brighter then the color in a real movie. Finding Nemo and Sinbad looked better then Bad Boys 2 and Tomb Raider because of the color. Real movies tend to be dull because of the clothing, props, or lighting used. But keep in mind, that's what I think.

i know i know.. im just gettin it now so i cant rhow in my 2 cents for quality... but for those of u who think this is their best work.. id like u to go back and check out episode 2 AOTC and spiderman, all all the ctp relases, these 2 were BY FAR the best theyve ever done, since their return they are far above everyone else, however, not up to h standards they set for themselves b4 they took their little vacation...

Anyway nice release as usual from CTP, if they would have brought this 1y ago everybody would be so amazed now ppl are even bitching about certain things that need to be done better Who knows what the future will bring..

judging by the sample on this, i'd say 7/7, or 8/8 adjusted since it's a TS. videos fine, audios good but cant tell until the action/explosions come. good enough though, thanks centropy. nice and fast.

this is not usual ctp release - less collors, no angle, fast movements make shadows. it is similar to bad boys 2.
I think they have changed the dv camera, or this rls comes from another source than usual does.
i know what the future bring.......

i think that some releases are dark around the edges cause the cinema is dark and it would create an affect
Video is dark and the gamma is set high.
Audio is as normal. ( slight hollowish feel to it )
Movie is a great movie a def go see in the theater.
This sure as hell beats there rls of spider-man, That copy wasn't that good at all, It was decent, but this is better than that, And AOTC was good when it wasn't in day light, In day light scenes it sucked.
I have gotten used to the angel so it doesn't bother me anymore but I had a hard time with it.
This sure as hell is a lot better than DareDevil, and X2, the picture was so distorted on X2 it was hard to watch. But I still watched it and gave it a high rating cause the colors and the image was good, exept for the distorted front row view.
Audio is good, I will take this over A lot of rls's.

The only problem I really see with this rls is that it has like an over coat of something on it, It's pale, or some shit. I don't know exactly what it is. But it's not bad. Maybe it will look better on my stand alone. Still giving it an 8/8, Of course this is after viewing more of the movie than the sample.

Just got done burning and playing the movie in my dvd player... I normally wait for a CTP release and for good reason....this is a nice video 8. The sound as well 8. As for the movie havent' watched it yet. During the part that i watched on cd1 and cd2 the bright colors were a little too bright but other than that great color. The action was a slight bit pixilated in spots but not that noticable. It wasn't as good as BB2 but nice nonetheless. A definite grab
Every movement haves a little ghost, doesn't look too bad thought. And again the picture doesn't seem to have any angle that is noticable.
Sound was ok, couldn't really hear a hiss nor "over-bass" that could bother, might just watch this.

ok.. i skimmed it.. theres is amotion blur <shadow> not serious but presant,and its a tad dark, or dull, other than that is a normal ctp rls.. well done 7.5<cuz of blur>/8/?.. yes...AOTC had some blue in the realll light scenes, but as for spiderma, that was about as perfect a TS as u will ever see, crystal clear, perfect sound, perfect color, im not flaing ctp at all, their TS areawesome.. whn they first came back they had some issues with HUGE angles, and the pic wasnt quite as clear.. but after 5 or 6 releases they sored most of that, that being said however, the new style SVCDS they are releasing are not as crisp as the ones they released last year IE, spiderman,life or something liek it,unfaithful,enough, undercoverbrotha, scooby dooaOTC and yes SPIDERMAN was the best of all of them, and no imnot a spiderman freak .. quailty..they r still #1 in my book, and i am not complaining 1 bit, simply stating that they have done better inthe past

Ok! The Sound in this was nice. Just got through watching the full movie. Both CD's are fine no glitches. Nice picture. I saw a little motion blur on 1 or 2 scenes but for a split second. Overall the movie is complete and near perfect with slight if no angle at all. Centropy is getting better by the week. For all that disses this with bad ratings , you must be stupid. Download it. Burn it to a disc and watch it on the television its excellent. My surround sound was rumbling the house down this morning. Since I've had the full movie download since 3am this morning.
Overall 9/9/8.. Excellent Job. With a wonderful end credits finish..Centropy you are the shizznick....
Why are there toooooo many critics - its the best release so far & it's very very watchable, previous 2 had sound problems......

Judging from sample:
Video: Very clear, no angle that i could detect. Colors were good.
Audio: Clear, no snaps or hissing. Not much to complain about here.
Movie: I haven't watched it, but some friends of mine who have said it was pretty good.

Just downloaded and watched the first disc..Great Sound....little dark on the edges, but this is the best rl of this flick yet....Nice JOb and Fast!!!
I ficked through the movie and it looks okay, will watch tonight, and centropy i dont know what u have done, but now tomb raider 2 and bad boys 2 work on my dvd player, without this line in them middle of the screen, so thanks guys

watched the whole thing (on a tv, for once). excellent release, i havent seen the last few centropy releases but this is on par with their older, classic, awesome qual releases. and on opening weekend! woohooo!

dont call me a hater... but i just dont see how these telesyncs r getting rated above 8 and 9 for sound and picture... first of all the best TS ever was bruce almighty and it was a 8/8... centropy definitly rls's the best ts's out there but i just dont think that any TS should be rated above 8...
but centropy keep up the great work love the movies and the early rls's

First of respect for the fast release.. But dont you guys also have quit a bit of motion blur?? everytime something is moving just a bit fast there is motion blur, like that camera cant record fast enough?? could this be because that it is ntsc?? because on their erlier release this was not present (havent seen bad boys 2).. my tv system is pal and also my kiss dvd player, but I can change the player to ntsc..
Best rls Available by far. Too bad I paid $9, to see this pile in the theater.
yeah there is quite the shadow ... why? hell if i know. works fine for me. did it ever pause for a few seconds and start playing again for anyone else? it did that once on the first CD 2-3 times on the second. I think i need to replace my burner though :/

this is what we were waiting for. fucking rules! more screen, less angle, perfect audio. i'd rather give up a little color, than have a cropped up angle mess. the old days like the spiderman TS are returning, or better yet, being surpassed. excellent job.

Ran the sample to my TV via S-Video out and Audio to my receiver.
Sounds fantastic and looks real good. No problems at all for this release.

Once again..
Ok once again I will post a review. From Begin to End this movie showed great. Not dvd standards, what do you expect it with a digital video camera. I saw one problem in it on cd 2 on the africa scene where the glare went up and down. Overall it had so flaws. No lip-sync issues and No angles. Picture was wonderful. Sound was excellent. Why does CTP get high ratings well they deserve it. They have earned the respect to know that even with a slight angel sometimes, they will always wait and give you great pic and sound. And this one along with the last 6 are living proof. perfection

Good job ctp...much0 better...however..8/8/*...umm no. Still extremely bright in parts..However compared to the last few releases (Besides Bad Boys II because I think everyone who watched that and talked smak about the quality needs to have the crack pipe slapped from there lips) This shit is gold baby. This is definatly the quality I would expect from a ctp release. Now as far as the movie goes..I would rate it right in between From Justin To Kelly and Michael Jackson: Thriller except Angelina Jolie looks a hell of allot better in tights than Michael Jackson does. But regardless..

just finish watching the movie.....and i must say i love it =D...but i gotta give my hats off to ctp for the nice and quick release!.....audio is good video is good as well.....some ppl would whine cos the color isnt that great.....well mostly ctp release that has a nice color are mostly angled...i prefer the less color but no angle.....

Why is it people are talking so much about if the film is in NTSC and PAL.. I know that NTSC is the American standard and Pal is Europe, but as my tv system and player is PAL, could the reason that I see a lot of motion blur in fast scenes come from that the standard is NTSC?
When the pic aint moving I would rate the movie 8 sound 8,5
But that motion blur is gonna be the end of me!!?!??
Overall, the quality is quite good for this movie. The colors are a little off on this version, however. It is definetly the best rel out there. 7/7/6
Usual quality...video is great...no angle at all in this release. Don't think they cropped hardly anything from this release. Audio is very good also. I thought the movie sucked though...the first seemed much better, there were a few cool scenes in this one but in the end it seemed like a boring movie.

welp, this looks similar to their bad boys release, except for some reason it has received higher marks. i played this and bb2 on my apex 1110 and i saw no motion blur at all. that being said, these last releases have less color, almost like when ctp came back onto the scene a few months ago (eg. daredevil, cradle 2 the grave). at least theres no blue tint tho. i happen to like the angle better when there is richer color, the colors on this are nothing like they were in say the hunted or angels 2. oh well, you guys wanted to get rid of the angle.

video was a little grainy but you know, it's still better than all the other ones. muhahaha. audio, about the same as their usual releases. add i did was make some fine adjustments to the tv.

The Truth
First off the picture is cool minus the motion blur. Second the audio was cool until some of the action scenes and then it was too loud. I had to keep adjusting the audio. Other than that, the movie was ok. Definitely not the best of the summer.
Video = 7 b/c ive seen better and don't care about a slight angle
Audio = 6 b/c of the loud and low sections.
Movie = 5 b/c it just wasn't good enough for a 5.1
After watching the entire movie all the way through, i would like to revise what i said about it was skipping around the first cd. There seems to be a bright section right in the middle of the scene that turns completely white whenevery they are around somethign bright or ourside. It isn't that annoying but enough to irritate you and cause you not to see some things in the movie. Also the colors are quite dull, but the angle was not noticable. The cropping was a bit outrageous since all of the subtitles were at teh very very bottom of what we could see. If they could keep the no angle they got on this one and the color from some of the past releases it would be good. The sound is no where near as good as the sound from the matrix reloaded, but of course this was only on 2 cds. Once you turn the volume up a little bit it sounds a little bit tinny but it isn't horrible at all. Overall, these are very good for a telesync, and I am sorry to be so picky, but hey, what the heck. Good Luck with future realeases Centropy.
This has to be a step down for ctp. the color is definitely not
present and in high motion seems to be jittery, audio is good as
usual.

Looked dodgy on the pc, so wasnt expecting much, but when played on the TV it's brilliant. I hope all CTP releases are like this one.

Picture is ok, good to see centropy don't mess around with the camera in film, and the the subtitles arn't cropped. Picture quality is about the same as normal.
Sound quality is same as ever.

Very good quality. The only problem I had was that the audio was slightly messed - the music was very loud when there was no dialogue, and when there was dialogue it was quiet. I kept having to adjust the volume throughout the movie to balance between music scenes and dialogue.
Overall it was 7/8/6
Having watched almost the entire first CD I think my evaluation will be fair
When I rate I usually don't consider past releases of the group nor do I consider other releases from other groups of the same material, instead I compare the release to what you would see from a VHS source material such as renting the product.
Video= 7 (no noticable angle or at least not one I could see, Colors are a little on the dull side, I did not see any major motion blur nor did I see any oversaturation of any one color(red,blue,green hues), Over all a nice job on the video.
Sound=7.8 (I felt the sound was ok, there was no hollowing or distorting when playing from a television, no hissing or buzzing and it was clear and not muffled)
Movie= I dont bother giving my opinion since everyone has their own

Anyways this was a pal converted to ntsc judging by the jerky
motion in this 25 frames per sec to > 29.97 frames per sec.

Had to re-encode this to 23.97 frames inverse telecine
and added 3:2 pulldown and non interlaced it.
Smoothed it right out.
Man and talk about the polarizing in both of there latest
releases. Have they ever here of a non polarizing lens filter?
Hell just throw a pair of sunglasses in front of the lens.sure
it will leave the video darker but thats why we have brightness
controls. At least the glare would be gone.
like bad boys 2. colour was better tho. sound wasnt too bad. perfect for watching. CTP has done it again!

Great colors. Of course a little grainy at certain points but its not really noticable. I didnt notice any motion blurs either really. It looked good on the tv.
Sound was almost perfect. A little hollow but good.
The movie sucked ass, a few good action scenes but nothing good enough to get excited about. It could have been much better in my opinion.

I really liked the picture. The color was pretty close to being just right and not over saturated like so many other CTP releases. Audio was good but was too high and low in some spots. My audio system was going a little crazy playing it. Movie - bleh. I've seen much worse movies but it seemed like it had no point/plot for the 1st 10 minutes. Angela Jolie looked DAMN good in this one and I've not even an Angela Jolie fan.
9/7/7 for a so so moive with a super hot actress running around in a 2 piece swimsuit and a skin tight wet suit. That makes it at least a 7 to me.
Here are my thoughts on this release:

Picture: Excellent, as good as you can expect a TS to be. The picture is colourful and very watchable. The picture goes a little dark for about 30 secs in disc 2 (when Lara goes to Africa) - but it doesn't last long enough to irritate.
Sound: Flawless. The sound is crisp and clear throughout the movie.
Movie: This movie isn't THAT bad. This, like the previous Tomb Raider movie is a mixture of Indiana Jones and James Bond - but it never reaches the standard of either of those frachises, instead this is a watered down version of them. The Lara Croft character is played excellently by Jolie once again (Beautiful and deadly). In some ways, character wise, this is a better Lara Croft movie because we get to view her in a new light - She shows a vunerable side which has never been seen before. Another reason to watch - This is the second best eye candy movie this Summer (first being Charlies Angels II). Oh, and did I mention that Jolie was beautiful? Oh, I did?......Sorry.

Great release! Worth the d/l for certain!
I'm no expert, and since I have limited resources I normally stick with the CTP release. I'm not praising them, but on average they offer the better more consistant releases.
The video on this one is a little bright in the center while darker on the edges, but it's still watchable. The sound is good as per norm with CTP. The movie itself was good for what it was, not an epic but good none the less. New stunts, some good effects gives it a good rating in my books.

Movie 8 - Speaks for its self
This release is very poor compared to others I have seen form this group.
