I was unaware that they were even making a second one, lol :P. From the nfo it doesn't seem like anyone from the original cast is actually in this one, is this true?. Also from the nfo it just seems like the same story with different charachters.

Just saw the sample. Doesn't look like a silver source but could be. Sound could be better but video is about as good as it gets on a TS. Very clear and the colors are visible. Going to put in an initial vote of 8/6/? will report back on the movie and maybe change my vote once I watch the whole thing.

ESO did a good job on this release. Thanx for it , but why did they make a sequal, The first one was a good enough movie, no reason to make a sequal. Just my 2 cents though.

Just got the sample, i didn't even know there is part 2 for this movie! will now i got it, First one was great with 2 endings i hope this also have 2 endings, story looks good!

Now about this release!

Sound is not bad, Picture is good colorfull, little bit bright. But who cares. You want it you go find it and download it i wanted this movie and i got it and now i am gona watch it!!!!!

The video for the most part is constant to what you see in the .jpg sample - it only reshifts at one point from what I can remember. The movie itself is pretty decent, but the first one is definitely better.

picture was ok, a bit bright but ok (except when they fumble a bit with the cam)
the sound was not that good, from time to time it sounded like the audio went from stereo to mono.

the flick itself was ok, the first one was better though. more splatter in this one (like in all sequels)

See here in vcdquality.com, the jpegs arep osted to see the quality of the release, now when people judge the movie just from the jpeg, most people shout out to the user who declared it was a horrible picture quality due to the jpeg posted..


The best way of judging a movie os from the sample, not the jpeg, the pictures stand up for a reason, and that is too also show the quality, but depending on who captured that sample and how good of a job they did...

I think we all need to just relax and stop insulting others.... I think the best way is to judge a sample by stating from the jpeg or the sample, there then no one will get insulted....

Maybe it doesn't make to much sence to me, how can there releases differ so much? the last few were terrible, then this movie isn't bad. that doesn't make sence to me. you would think the quality would be consistant.

LOL.. the camera alomst fell over 35:07 on first cd.. wow that was close, not bad TS.

Waited till it got dark for this one, and it was well worth the wait.
I think it was as good as the first one, if they make a 3rd movie i wouldn't mind.

ok I just finished Watching the movie, and i can say it, I LOVED THE MOVIE great movie. just like 1st one it has its own scares and its own ways to pull people in the theater beside downloading this. i will watch this in theater also!!!

Can't wait to see this cause, as said numerous times before, the first one was great! Extremely rare in recent horrorflicks.

Well here's my review. Even though I had this since yesterday, I waited to write the review because I wanted to get time to watch whole movie. Quality wise, I am sure going to miss oscar season. But, we better get use to it. The quality on this movie is pretty camish. The pic has good color, some blur, but not a whole lot of pixelation which is good. The pic is pretty livable if you ask me. I wouldnt want more movies with this pic, but for a week pre whose to complain. That i give it a 6.5 . Audio on the other hand, is clear but fucked up. The audio is pretty good til the point where the camera almost tips. Its like the audio jack came loose and it went from stero to mono around that 35:07 point. It stayed that way til almost the end of the movie, and on cd 2 about 75 percent done ( hospiatal scene where she leaves in van), it returns. Anyway, If you want to see this movie, grab this. I liked the movie. If you want perfection, wait. Someone is bound to do a nice release on this movie once it hits mainstream and goes to theaters.. And that is my two cents.

Can anyone confirm this for me, their NFO states a run time of 100 minutes however since I just began previewing the movie it's showing only an 86 minute run time. Did I come across a pooched version floating around? any confirmations on this would be helpful, thanks.

very good movie, although not much more than an extention of the first film it was still really good and suspensful, after all, what other movie (franchise?) can tell you who is going to die, in what order they're going to die, and still have you on the edge of your seat

The movie was fine up until the last 5 minutes, when they put in some needless references to other movies and decided to throw in some random BS at the very end. It ruined the whole thing for me.

Release is of high quality for something that is pre.

Above average ts, solid picture, great colours. Audio was nice and clear, but goes quiet every once in a while. After the horrible Darkness Falls ts, this was a very good rls. The movie itself was good, nice and violent but had a bit of a retarded ending. The first one was a hell of a lot better too.

I found if you re-encode the picture to 16:9 It looks alot better and its already good so this makes it look even better. The audio is fine got low in some spots but just turned the volume up on the reciever when this happend. Movie is GREAT it will make you watch your step, in a way its kinda sick.

One-disk downsample out there

When you're doing your reviews, make sure you're watching the original two-disk release. Someone posted to usenet a one-disk "VCD" version. How do you get an 85-minute movie on an 80-minute disk? You re-encode the video to 900 kbps and the audio to 64 kbps. You get a file that's only about 600 meg, too.

Yeahhhh, this is my first post but I've been doin this shit for a while. Very good for a Pre-Release. Average TS Quality. A little blurry but not too bad. good color, a tad bright, but if that bothers you you can always re-encode it and fix it. Camera shakes at one point. Overall very decent Video. Audio is good, but at the point where the camera shakes it goes down in level. It still seems to be stereo there though, don't know what happened. Overall, very good release. I give it 7/7/8. Get this one, It's worth it. Remember, we won't have the luxury of these nice DVD Screeners soon.

Video is ok not great but ok to bright , but i had the same problem aswell in the theater. I give it a 7 for video 5 sound and a 8 for the all around movie.

What a great movie, how the hell can you knock a movie where crap actrss get brutally t killed by various household and road aciidents, You just cant!

The video and audio was pretty nice as well. As mentioned the audio dips from time to time during the ovie but its nothing really noticable or off putting

Gotta Love the blood and gore and the anticipation of death .
Full screen a few fuzzy parts but over all a damn good release
and I'm ready to watch the movie again .

I wish all TS's could be this good. It is very good qual. Sound does drop but not nearly enough to make you not want to watch it. There are a few glitchy spots, but other than that it is great. It seems whitewashed in spots, like when they are outside and with close to white colors.

I give it a 7/7/9. It was a great movie and great quality. If the video was a little less bright it would have gotten a 9. As I said, all TS's should be this good. Keep up the good work!

What ever happened to that spider that was on the girls neck in the beggining of the movie when she was sleeping and woke up and saw that dude talk about death and shit on the t.v.

How could you not like this release? Sure, it's not a *perfect* release but it's pretty damn good. The picture is great, just a bit blury. If yours is pixelated in action sequences then you probably either downloaded divx crap or got a re-encoded version at a lower bitrate, because I've watcehd mine twice, and it is a very nice release. The sound is fine, boohooohoo you have to crank your volume up in places, presing a button on your remote or turning a knob on your speakers isn't a terrible ordeal right? If you don't like this release, you set your quliaty standards waaay to high, this is the nicest TS I've seen in a long time.

Hey don't get me wrong. I said I liked it overall. The Picture was great. Just stated a fact about the sound, but it was well worth the download. I agree I think its one of the best TS that I have seen. I guess I've been spoiled by all the screeners that have come out lately.

if you got a dvd player that allows you to reduce the screen do so for this flick and all full screen VCD's (...i got a mintek just keep pressing zoom till it gets smaller) the video is much clearer
