I liked this film. What's up with there NFO? I can't quite make out some words.

Quality is on par with other MaVeN releases. As stated in the nfo it is dark. Also has a little motion blur, and the sound is a tad low. All around an excellent release though.

I woulda given it an 8 or 9 but I'm a fan of the video games (at least RE 1-3, code veronica and RE zero were shite) and the movies take the whole concept and turn them into regurgitated garbage. Capcom definitely writes better storylines than whoever was in charge of these movies.

Beautiful Release...looked ok on the pc monitor..but amazing on my flatscreen. Beautiful colors and damn the audio is pumped up!!! I love it. Nice release once again Maven and its complete to the end. Nemesis was true to the game. And lots of Action/Gore/Profanity/Did I mention action and gore. Well the movie was nice. I thought the video game Nemesis was shit. But nice movie to implement on a game that was poop compared to the others in the series. But from the way it ended. Resident Evil 3 will be very lovely.

8/9/10 movie was really good...way better than the the first. amazing effects. can't wait to see part 3.

This release is great, even by maVen's standards.

Their nfo, however, was pretty disappointing. Apparently, maVen only hears the few geeks who criticize them. Like CTP before them, they don't hear the vast majority of people who praise and thank them. That's called "empowering" the few geeks, and ignoring the vast majority. That's how the bad guys win.

I've been around here for a long time but I don't post to often. This crap of people not even seeing the movie or the clip it crap.
I guess some people think they are cool if they just can make a post or sometihng.

I can play raw mpegs on my DVD standalone so I just burn the sample on a rw-cd and play it, this is the only way to judge the sample IMO, seems to always look better on the TV than the comp.

another sexy release from u guys, now im just waitin for cellular as the fBc version has good sound, but the pic is not up to par. i understand that you cant put out every movie, but i just thought i would say that anyways. maVen is the best, and I cant thank you enough for what you have done already, even if you never released again I would say you guys are winners.

The sample was good for showing light and dark scenes. Can't complain about the audio it is direct. Obviously the movie is dark and with a TS you can't get much better.

This is an awsome release. Just went through the whole movie, and it is great quality all around. I'll give the video a 9, and the audio a 10. Great release Maven. You can't really get any better then this.

Going off of the sample clip..Pic has just a VERY a lil bit of flicker to it, but good lord. this is a niceee job.. i however, didnt like the box screen picture(if yours wasn't like this it may have been just the source i dl'd), so i made it widescreen, but other than that.. Great job..The NFO however wasnt very nice.. , only seeing the bad reviews and not the good..but as someone here said a few post back...by every one wanting your version should be considered a way of setting the standard. not a burden or be told to go get a different source! as the nfo did.. but all in all this is VERY watchable!! if the entire file is as clean as the sample , a newer version wont be needed till a Tc at least.. so.. if it isnt. hey i can always use Canopus Procoder on it. he he..

Films was disapointing the video was very dark in places ala AVP. It was very nice in places but with a dark film like this it suffers.

Watchable certainly, much better than any copy around at the moment but not as great as some wold lead you to believe.

Remember when we have to use to wait for Centropy to post a quality release? They were always top of the line, but took forever...

Quality is pretty good but it doesnt help since the movie is dark. Get annoying sometimes when you try to see the faces or other detail, i put my TV brightness to the max but i didnt really help.

Sound is really good.

I loved the movie itself, way much better then the first one and atleast this time there was one character from the gameoh and NEMESIS rocks!!! Cant wait to see what they will come up with in the 3rd movie...maybe chris redfield!?

MaVen outdid themselves with this one. Audio was flawless. Video was VERY good, just kinda dark. Also, I didn't have that audio sync problem that many of you were talking about. I simply used TMPGEnc to lighten up the pic, and convert it to DVD compliancy. That's all I had to do, then got to enjoy it on my DVD player. Video was clean. Didn't notice any artifacts, even on the fast scenes. It was just very dark until I lightened it up with TMPGEnc. Movie itself had more action than the first, but the plot was underdeveloped. It was all about killing and shooting. Character development was lacking and you never really felt anything for the characters that got killed off. I'll say one thing, they left this puppy WIDE OPEN for a part 3!

Better than the last film, but felt like something someone did just to add to his CV, some very cool bits in it but let down by lack of interesting dialogue and the lack of instensity that Nemesis should've brought, great to see Jill Valentine in it.

Nice to see some decent zombies films this year (best being Shaun of the Dead).

Next film is called Afterlife and is set after the games, could be good if they let someone decent direct it (maybe someone daring).

I watched this movie yestorday, and it was at least better then the first one. The quality not as bad as all jpeg/sample bitches say. It's quite dark but i don't think any group can make a better release then maVen on this one.

And please don't complain about my spelling ;D

Im never a fan of sequels as they tend to make a mockery of the orignal but in this case i say well done. Enjoyed this more than the original. Will definetly be going to see this film when it gets released in gods country (thats the UK btw )

Anyway apart from a few dark scenes this release rocked!! Well done maVen

Watched this movie on my tv w/Mintek DVD 1600 standalone...
Video: 8.5 - very good. slight motion blur. It didn't seem dark to me...
Audio: 8 - very good. Very good quality sound...voices were faint, sound effects were loud. Woke up everyone in the house. Adjust EQ. Apologize to wife. All good.
Movie: 5 - Meh. When there are no monsters on the screen, the movie tanks. The kids loved it. I did not.

Good release but no matter what I play it on there is a sync issue. maybe a fraction of a second easy to fix, but it's there if I rip the .mpg or burn the CD, play it in windows, Xbox or 3 standalones. It's deffo there.

You can just rename the rar to an mpg, you dont need VLC Player at all, any player willl do it.

Great release for a great movie

Video - 9, probably the best you could get from a telesync, could do with being a little brighter though, very impressive though

Sound - 10, I felt this was done perfectly, the quality is the best you can get for stereo sound, felt like i was in the cinema

Movie - 8.5, Enjoyed this one, much better than the first, action was pretty good and the acting was good too

did any1 else have some problems with the video going blocky and stuff like that. ive got a pretty recent sony standalone dvd player and when i burned using the bin and cue files cd1 fukd up after 25 mins. so i reburnt cd1 and 2 by extracting the mpgs and burning those no problems in cd1 but near the end of cd2 i had blockyness in some parts for some short periods of time. any1 else have issues like this. never had issues with other vcds and other groups like videocd and maven just happens on this release of resident evil.

Finally had a chance to watch this one. Once again, another excellent maVen release!

Video - 7 (Very good with the quality. Yes, it's on the dark side, but all I did was adjust the brightness and it's fine.)

Audio - 8 (Again, very good sound... it's just a bit low.)

Movie - 7 (Movie was way better than the original.)

This is by far one of the worst movies I have ever seen, some people are giving this movie a 10, which says a lot about your taste in movies.

The only good part about this movie was the expended line.

maVen Brings The GOODS Again

maVen has done it yet again with Another Excellent Quality Telesync. I mean, these guys are quickly becoming the standard that everyone else would like to have. Anyways, as for this one, the video was pretty darn good. I did notice a little bit of a sync problem but it was pretty much corrected just by using the pause button. It looked really clean and smooth. I didnt notice any artifacts or macro-blocks in this one. Even in the action packed scenes. The audio was the maVen usual. Excellent!!! It Really sounded nice on my Home Theater System. The movie itself I thought was very good. I know alot of people didnt like it for some reason, but I thought it was really pretty good. Lots of action and gore and just all around entertaining. Thanks Again maVen for releasing this one. Keep Em Coming!!!!

Video 8: Fsirst off, am I the only one that sees a huge angle in this release. EVERYTHING is curved that should be straight except the bottom, like the camera is tilted upwards. I thought these guys shot from the top back to avoid getting caught. Anyways, very watchable, good colors, dark scenes are easy to deal with.

Audio 10: Direct, good, clean. Why do you people complain about volume. Simply turn you stereo up or down. If this is a problem for you, seek help.

Movie 7: Loved both of them, but this one seemed a little bit too cliche like. Having a very large budget for a movie that didn't reallyneed a big budget is many movies downfall. But they restrained enough to keep things from being way too lame.

Yeah the movie was very good at some points especially during the church scene you couldnt see a thing but everything else was ok just that since the movie is DARK as stated in the info it will be annoying but if you can deal with that and enjoyed the '

Watched this on my 52" rear projecton TV and i have to say it still looked bloody good! the sound was excellent (although i had a minor 'buzz' for a min about 10 mins into CD1) and the picture great, the only problems came in dark scenes (ie grainyness/silouetting) which are very frequent as the movies set at night!.
The major issue i have with this movie is the crappy editing, the 'battle' scenes are impossible to follow as the action is zoomed in so close and the scence is cut before you see any real violence/blood/guts/horror. which is REALLY annoying! you end up not knowing whats going on!/who been bitten etc.
Enjoyable enough though and its begging another sequel.
