First BATTLESTAR GALACTICA photos appear online

No matter what anyone says I loved this show and I am praying that they do this right

Seven photographs -- the first to appear anywhere -- from the Sci-Fi Channel's forthcoming remake of BATTLESTAR GALACTICA have been published on the Genre Online.net website. The images provide our first look at the new GALACTICA's Vipers, launch bay and at least three of the show's characters including Dr. Gaius Baltar.

Genre Online.net did not provide information about where their photos came from. A quick check of the Sci-Fi Channel's official BATTLESTAR GALACTICA website showed that the site has so far posted no photos from the mini-series. As far as we can ascertain, Genre Online got the exclusive.

why wouldnt you want them to at least attempt a remake of a show u used to like? would u rather they just forget about it? surelythey can make it better with the good effects and shit they have nowadays!!?? lthough getting a good looking jane seymore will be tough @@@ lol open your mind!!! and trust!!!! lol

I remember as a teen, watching the original episodes, so I'm going to have hold my judgement on this new one until I actually see it. But I think they should just leave it alone, the original was the best. At least until the last 2 seasons anyway!

jason : because it looks tacky. i'd rather them reair the original series cos it doesnt need to be remade, its still damn good. remaking things just shows people don't have the imagination to come up with new concepts. i can think of only a handful that were ever any good.

Katee Sackhoff Talks Battlestar Galactica

Katee Sackhoff talked to Sci Fi Wire about her starring role in the upcoming Battlestar Galactica mini-series...

[She told] SCI FI Wire that fans shouldn't worry that the character is no longer a man. "Even though it's a woman, it's the same person," Sackhoff said in an interview on the miniseries' Vancouver, B.C., soundstage. "Extremely sarcastic and smoking cigars all the time, really doesn't care, but is an amazing pilot. And that's what Starbuck was. So it really doesn't matter if it's a girl or a guy, it's still Starbuck."

A female Starbuck brings the story more up to date, Sackhoff added. "I think it's very realistic of the times, of what's going on right now in the world. ... I think that it's about time that we show that women can do just as much as the guys can, if not do it better."

women just arnt as good at physical stuff they are weaker 99% of the time andcant fly for shit how do i know this? israel started using female pilots but decided against it cos in combat they just were NOT good enough oh yea and is the starbuck chick gonna be smoking cigars getting all the guys and wisecracking? it just wont be the same with a chick (being starbuck) lol
