a suggestion

well you have a newbie thread for newbies which is understandable but what about all the advabced people who have questions too? i dont think it would be cool to post it into the newbie section, plus if its an advanced question i dont think it would be understandable in the newbie section
also whats really cool is that you people dont have one of those "mods only section" (well not that i know of) but it sucks when you have a forum and mods make a section like that and and talk about forum members making them feel bad, keep up the good work mod peeps

I dont think there is a need, the off topic section does fine for that kind of thing now, why change if its working.

But dont worry, we barely use it.. its more for making sure ppl get messages that is needed, dont bother bitching in there.

For the same reason you do not see all the folders on a properly setup FTP, you simply are not allowed, so there is simply no reason for it to be displayed to you.
some BB scripts show it regardless and some ftps would show directories you dont have access, more advanced ones do not. as seems to be the case here.

Also, im pretty sure with allot of BB scripts you can set it to show/hide specific sections etc.

Hah, but whenever I have a question, I don't need some gay 'Advanced Questions' area, I just ask them in the OT Forum, not that hard
