Yes, WOOT finally a WS NTSC DVDR of this movie. I haven't seen the movie since the UTi CAM and no one has posted so i'll add the review when i'm done. I'm just so excited to finally see this one in all its glory
!! Mega props to METEOR on the rls
w00t indeed for you (useful post there)
anyway, about the release.
Has full menu, though "special features" is disabled, so those are gone. Main menu, chapter select, language select (for subtitles) all there though.
nice NTSC WS release though.

Very nice release, I actually started getting this before I saw the PAL release, but what i saw of this looked very nice.
Theres not likely to be extras on this film becuase of the length./

Higher bitrate on the PAL-release. I'll go with that.
It would be a great release if it actually played in a dvd player. Hopefully a fix will be out soon.
It doesnt play from the play button but you can get the movie started through the scene selection for the time being

Anyways Excellent Rip of a Very Good film. Pic and Sound are Flawless and the menu is the Jamacain head Speedy Bus from the Beginning, Kinda Cool. Mega props to METEOR on this release!!
Same here cant get the movie to play when i hit the play button.
Just stays searching. I press stop, then play again and it starts the movie right up. After the credits and everything it also doesnt go back to the menu just stays at the black screen and my dvd player says searching again.

plays from the play button just fine here on powerdvd, ifoedit, and 4 standalone players in the house. im not a potter fan, but the kids seem to like it so... props to METEOR for a fine rls.
:edit: i did have to hit play twice in ifoedit, but the standalones never missed a beat
MENUEDIT shows there were 2 menus a FRENCH and ENGLISH menu. Looks they deleted alot of stuff to hide that this is either a French Candian DVD or from a R2 source.
Had some problems with my GE and RCA DVD Players (wouldnt play), but the SONY played it pressing the PLAY button twice, then it dies after the credits.
only MENU/VIDEO/1AUDIO on the disc. Rest wasnt authored out, but just plain deleted. Thats why its not DVD Compliant.
Looked and sounded ok, just didnt like the way they authored and concealed the FRENCH parts of the menus.
