XViD and DiVX screenshots?

I was just wondering how to take XViD and/or DiVX screenshots...I have been looking for a program that could do it does anyone know of one or am i just an idiot and looking over a feature please help

PowerDVD and some other video players have the option. In PowerDVD you can click on the camera icon (capture frame) or press 'C'. Make sure you go to Configuration, General tab, Advanced Options, Capture tab to setup your capture settings first.

or you can use nandub, go to the frame you want, and click video/copy source frame to clipboard, then paste it into photoshop or whatever.

a quick and dirty trick is to open the movie you want in media player, pause it, and open it again in another instance of media player....then take a screenshot of the desired frame, and voila.

Will 5 work with video? I use version 4, which won't take video pics (in Media Player, PowerDVD, WinDVD, VLC, etc, none of them) just gives me a black screen (box). Let me know if version 5 does in fact do video (version 4 does in game screen shots real nice!)

Hypersnap probably won't work due to the fact with hardware acceleration on (you can turn it off) video tends to use overlay.

(open: DXDIAG) the command open directx
than turn off direct draw.

so you can make picture with vlc , and other media player.
