wish they would have taken out the directors audio commentary and the subs, every little bit would help, 4325av kbps :/

Awesome release. A lot better than that PAL release, and the subtitles are actually readable. Yes I like to have subtitles. Very usefull when something is said in a movie, and you just can't seem to make it out for whatever reason.

Assuming the commentary is the normal DD 2.0 AC3 running at probably 192-224kbps, it'd have only added an extra 223kbps to the video. :P

I already grabbed the PAL release from awhile ago, will grab this for the commentary I guess and the fact that it's NTSC.

Edit: And actually, looking at SCREAM's earlier PAL DVDR release, the bitrate on that was only 4281 (6-pass) according to the NFO. So this is higher bitrate too.

Wow... first post in a LONG time...

Subtitles are only around 3-4 megs each (depending on the # of colors they used [typically just 4] and the amount of dialog) in the actual VOB. Sometimes they go up to 20megs.

So realistically, getting rid of them will be only 0.46% quality improvement.

At the same time, I never turn on subtitles... But I am sure a few deaf pirates out there might be upset at the suggestion

Great release from sleeper group.

Video 9/10 - Can't complain. Only skimmed though. Watching on Friday.

DVD-R 10/10 - Good job! Much appreciated title, especially in the middle of this summer movie drought.

Been so busy that I only have time to read and not post. I did notice few others disappeared off the forums lately. Maybe things will return back to normal soon
