Marley and me in the DVD-R section

Ok so there was a movie my wife has been wanting to watch called Marley and Me. She read the book and wants to ruin her good memory of it by watching the movie. Im not gonna be the one to tell her to wank off so..

She keeps asking me..
and i see it in the DVD-R section
on 3-18-09

Basically whats the difference between the DVD-R and DivX section is what im asking.

Whats that section for and why are there multiple movies in DVD-R that are also in the DivX section?

Why wasnt Marley and Me put in the DivX section like most of the other ones were?

Probably because it's a DVD and not an XviD.

Is this another windup by the mods?

no its a serious question.

Sorry if its it the wrong section.
And sorry if i worded my question wrong.

Whats the detailed difference between
the DviX/Xvid section and the DVD-R section?

And why wasn't 'Marley and Me' released in the DviX/xvid section as a DVDrip like all the other were?

The XviD section contains XviD releases and the DVDR section contains DVDR releases.

Because it's not just a DVDrip, it's a full DVDR.

If you mean "Why wasn't an XviD release of Marley and Me posted here?" then the subject has been discussed elsewhere:

It was posted in the Xvid section

3/17/2009 Marley.And.Me.DVDRip.XviD-ARiGOLD

No discussion as to quality so you'll have to find out for yourself.

I wouldn't swear to this but before I posted I did a search and only the DVD and Telesync were showing in results. It could be that the XviD rip has been added since which is why there are no comments on it as yet? My apologies to the updaters if I'm wrong.

Any chance of adding this one to the DVD section?

wasnt actually my concern about the 'updating'

I already knew the reasons for that.

"theres just not that many major releases and all the good ones made VCDQ"

I seriously just wanted to know why the two different sections.

i was hoping for some divine awesome complicated reason.

Thank you to the mods and updaters and members.
I just wanted to understand it better.
I seen different releases in each and was curious.

Some readers are only interested in DVD releases and prefer not to have to wade through a load of XviD titles in order to find them and vice-versa. Likewise, many search engines allow you to browse by format rather than by title. Hope that helps.
