The uk police force use tetra which is encrypted and is basically a mobile phone of sorts, be nice to hear the fkrs though, i still got me old scanner that used to pick them up and was handy for speed traps and other things

didn't check out the link but i have one stream from my county already, pretty cool, they truncate all the precincts into one channel and stream them together, since whenever there is communication from the car they start with their 'precinct number' anyway you can easily follow whats going on, its good stuff.

There's an ipod app version of this.

Listen to CPD last night for about 15 minutes (checked it out with the girl and another couple staying the weekend) or so at midnight, holy shit Saturday nights are busy in Columbus lol. My buddy was looking up codes as they said em, all I can say is wow.

I just turned it on in my county, within 5 minutes of listening to it I they mentioned my old neighborhood, 161 and Parkville, LOL.

That's now the hood, lol.

Now I hear my old childhood stomping grounds, This is great. I grew up in the hood, lol.
