watched teh samples seen 2 one labeled delete lol that one was perty sick the video isnt terrible watchable and hte audio seemed ok but was short samples i seen will wait to watch the whole movie but im happy it was released

"We were finaly able to obtain a good copy of Jackass The Movie. theone we shot ourselfs was flickering like a madman due to the NTSC on PAL problem of which you can read in the group notes. Anyways enjoy this fine release."

So this one is not cammed with NTSC cam!

Yea, rappa and his usual bullshit...you sure you watched the right release there pal? If you did, you would notice that the video is straight PAL, absolutely no flicker. The audio is hella good, calling it not direct is just another sign of your endless stupidity. Maybe you should go get the real sample, then post a review of the quality.

Took a chance and got this puppy. GLAD I DID. This is a very nice release-- we went from a scary place called "Nothing on Tuesday" to a place called "Worth the Wait."

OBUS appears to have arrived, let's hope this is a sign of great things to come.

Agreed, their are many many offenders of the 10/10/10 or 1/1/1 ilk and they have no place here or maybe actually it's people like me who have no place here. Not on a million topsties, not so "Elite" I don't need to use letters any longer, not downloaded the movie 3 weeks before it came on vcdquality. I just checked out the TS of jackass. It sucks. Don't waste bandwidth on this. The best part of the movie is missing (after the credits, a "son of Jackass" clip is shown. The audio is horrible, and the video is bad as well. Pay the money to watch it in theater

Can't say ftf would've done any better than this, pic is a little blocky, but the movie is in cam format anyway. Sound is pretty clear, better than most ftf releases. Overall it's watchable Some hilarious stuff.

I watched this release - the quality sucks and the sound is fair, but it's watchable. If you aren't a die hard jackass, then I'd wait for a better version.

Why do certain people need to get so hung up on groups. I personally think that if you are talking about a release and not just spamming group bs then theres absolutely no need for anyone to mention a group name in one of these reviews unless its in the form of "Thank you ______" (fill in the appropriate group name). Why does anyone want to hear that you havent watched it, think a group is shit, and are waiting for a screener from another group. (Most of you know exactly how that sentence would sound if I felt like putting a group name in there.) What kind of review is that? Put down the mountain dew, unpack your fat pasty ass from your chair, and go do something productive with your time because your bs is wasting mine and everyone elses who wants to read a review and get some honest feedabck about a movie. I had to wade through 50 posts on this movie when i wanted to find out what it was like earlier. 50 posts! Do you know how many of them actually contained anything to do with the movie? About 4. Now I've added this rant to it, but at least if you were just looking for an review you could just read the first line and tune out when you didnt want to hear my bitterness. In conclusion, thank you Obus for releasing this movie.

This "ping ponging" as you put it is caused by auto-normalisation hardware in the cam that was used to record this.
Most video cameras have a peice of hardware that measures how loud the volume is, and if it gets very quiet, it compensantes by increasing the gain on the mic and vice versa.
This is supposed to give a better recording, but seeing as the sound levels in movies are professionally mixed this is totally redundant for capping films. Also this hardware is usually a crappy 50 cent chip which increases and decreases the gain way too much and takes too long to get back to normal. Some cams allow you to turn this off, some don't. And some pirates are too dumb to find the switch :P

Anyone here honestly care who did what where to get this movie? All this gheyness about groups and sources is really getting tired. It's watchable and it's funny. Enjoy it. kinda on topic and all just thought i'd chime in after watching it via DVD player on TV and all.
was perfectly watchable really for a movie like this. not like it has a bunch of things that needed to be sharp as hell, just yelling and laughing with not much motion.

well acually if it is encoded wrong like so many are they can talk up more space on the disc and time then they should but u wouldnt know that would you dumbass

i wasnt gonna do my review on this because its full of shit more like a war than movie comments but

VIDEO--colorless i thought picture was even on both sides very watchable wouldnt have a problem with it

AUDIO--audio was great sounded very good

MOVIE--kinda dissapointed ckys were much better

Watched this last night, and movie is funny as hell.

The pic quality was watchable, sound was ok also. Gonna pull down FTF's version to see if its any better, If it's not oh well.

Well, I caved in after being bored outta my skull and just watched the entire thing. The sound 'ping-ponging' is only present in the first couple of minutes. Picture was more than watchable and sound was clear.

pretty funny movie, i really did laugh in most parts. some of it didn't at all do much though and other parts were pretty sick lol.

sick, but funny sick, well, for the most part.

i recommend this one for the whole family to enjoy! LoL

Not the best quality, but quite watchable anyway.. Really wanted to see this one.. I laughed alot (except when they cut the skin between the hand and foot which wasn't fun at all).. Nice release!

Movie is 80min, obus rls is 79min. Oh, and good luck finding the FTF release if you arent on a site that they affil, cuz its a big n u k e.

i thought this was a great rip who cares about the credits any way i would say about 80% of vcds has end credits. i didnt get the other rip and dont plane too but judgeing from the jpg sample it looks too bright/white

WoW what a delightful idiotic movie! This is the best example why DL these Video CDs should be **g*l.. Man I would have been VERY upset had I spent $8.00 to watch this Garbage...Movie was funny and is worth the download. This particular release was pretty good for a "TS", the video was above average and the audio was as well. I will rate this a 5/5/4....If all you can find is this release and want one by another group, don't bother this will do just fine
