Very nice telesync when all we have latley is mislabled russian telesyncs with CAM audio and Silvers.
Seems a tad overcropped top cut off ... NO COMPLAINTS from me though. Colors are great , slight motionblurness on fast moving scenes as all telesyncs have, only watched first few rars and it sounded hissy to start but got better when the movie actually got going and so far from what i seen seems in sync.
Props on the release maVen i appreciate it , but i think this was extremly dumb :x

::EDiT:: After watching a bit in standalone, the picture seems really bright and colors are a bit washed, sound is really quiet and not DTS but great for direct, still no complaints.

Start the progy
Click the folder file on the progy and find the .bin for CD1/CD2
IE: C:\The.Dukes.Of.Hazzard.TELESYNC.SVCD-maVen\CD2\mvn-tdoh02.bin
Click Burn
When a box pops up saying "There doesn't appear to be enough space on the disc to burn this image, would you like the continue anyway, click YES.

and again with a HQ release.
I skipped true the first cd and no problems so far.
Video is good for a TS. Bit fuss and the dark scenes are what you can expect from a camcorder-shot.
Great audio. Sounded brilliant on my tv and it's very clear. Maybe bit loud at some scenes.
Overall great release, as always.

if anyone has trouble with playin cd2 bin, just use vcd gear to make mpeg and will play with bsplayer..that seems to happen a lot with the second disk on other files

If you want to get any this is the one to get. The video is good and so is the audio.
The video on this ,the anon and baph release are all exactly the same source. maVen have just adjusted the colours to make the blacks darker and upped the saturation to make it seem more colourful. Thus making it image seem better. If you compare the 3 videos side by side, like I have done, you will see this for yourself.
To comment on the audio, the baph was deffinatly cam, the anon not to sure about but sounded better. This release seems to be just as good if not better than anon's.
If your are still waiting to get a release this would be it, because maVen have done the hard work for you and made it look and sound better.

This release is ok, as stated in other posts, same video, just different audio. Where ppl get 9's for video, I guess thats just a lol scenerio. The audio on this is good, better than the other releases.
On a good note it is nice to see maven still lurking, hope things get better.

I havent seen the quality of the rls so cant commend on this(spank me neversoft)

um sorry but this makes Anon's release look stupid. The picture is damn near perfect. This looks even better than the TC of Stealth, and that's was supposed to be a tc. Sorry this rules. This is what we have been waiting for and maeven I hope you bring in some other releases like bad news bears, wedding crashers and all other sorts......Keep up the great work and hopefully maeven becomes the solution to the problem! LOL!

Okay first of all thanks to the uploader of this release BUT...
Have any of you seen the screenshots from VCDQuality on this release ....As far as I know the other two releases did not have a black looking ufo spot on the video but hey who knows maybe this release isnt all that bad ....
There is already a ts and a SVCD encoded release of Dukes of Hazzard so no rush on this one until further confimration on video quality and such....

Just looked a at the same clip from this and the Anon rls and this is alot better. Picture is alot clearer/sharper and the sound is spot on. Good job.

Great release Dunno what the spot was... I totally did not see it.. that is in the beginning of the film when they walk into the bar..
I see the spot in the jpg sample.. but if you look at it.. it seems to move from jpg to jpg .. Either it is not really in the film.. or it is and it is and it is maybe just ONE frame?? too fast to see?

Seems the "UFO" spot is a split second and is probably a burn mark or splice on film. not anything to worry about, the jpg sample just so happen to take the picture when it scrolled by in a few frames.

Watched this on the TV tonight...
whats funny, for a movie I only marginally care to see.. I've downloaded 3 versions of it now.. haha. Just as I go to watch the one I grabbed last.. a new one comes out. However, it's great to see Maven back, always top notch stuff.
Only problem with this release is CD2 being oversized.. and my pioneer 108 doesn't like to overburn for some reason. And I'm too lazy to re-connect my old lite-on CDRW. However, a quick dump into mpeg tools and shaving a little off the tail end of the movie fixed that.
Video is great. Good color and sharp video.
Audio is excellent as well.
Movie.. didn't expect much.. didn't get much.

there is a oval shape blocking the picks.....well on a few places in the film that same shape flick up (dont blink u will miss it) i spotted it on the bit when daisey is talkin to the cops at the raod block and the female copy steps in...(look from the start in the car to the point where the female cop steps in)......can ant on confirm this or is it just me..............................i wonder if Maven have watermarked the video.........clever stuff if they have.....

Sadly, my burner doesnt seem to support overburn.
Extracting the mpg from the bin resulted in various sector read errors and whatnot which resulted in me not being able to edit some time offf or re-create the svcd.

For some of us, who actually have the release instead of going by the JPEG. This release is definitely good stuff. Definitely Welcome back maVen...greatly appreciated....
I like the way the Jpeg has the big black mark....its nothing more than film popup for like a millisecond.....everyone thought it was a shadow....know before you post...Great release overall colors and sound are nice as hell...Damn get to work on The Island and many others...looking forward to more...

now this shows what good encoding is... obviously a silver that 3 groups have (homemade telesync? well i suppose you can claim that but this is silver) but this shows you what the pros know, if you were to have this encoder on 75% of cam/ts rls it would raise the bar of rls's in the whole, its crazy to think about how other rlss from past silver crews looked like a baph rls but if they had some1 like him... oh well, anyway just thinking about the end of shitty rls's, is that possible? anyway the video is an 8 its great... well... what we are used to from the V and same for audio well maybe dts was around when this name was around... anyway... movie i dont think is too bad, but i never really watched the old show too much, enuff to say i liked it, but not to call me a fan so i had no expectations... 8/7/7

(OT) This movie was written by Broken Lizard, the guys that brought you Super Troopers. Look for the ST opening scene spoof when they visit campus. Broken Lizard got fucked by Hollywood over the writing credits (credit went to the Starsky and Hutch douche for his pre-script) so fuck Hollywood back and get this bitch.

In Nero prefrences / Expert features theres an option to enable overburn, after enabling it Nero asked if I wanted to overburn cd 2 , I said yes and It played to the end just fine.

Um I don't know what you are talking about dude. A flawless ts, yeah you are right, there's no such thing because most of the ts's the camera moves. But this is one hell of a ts. Probably the best ts we've seen since saosin's and saosin left ts's real quickly and strictly did tc's for awhile. If I am not mistaken, I think either Hostage or The Ring 2 was their last ts, before they started with tc's with Unleashed, madagascar, and such.
Now again, this ts isn't perfect, you cannot just compare a ts to a tc or a screener. But this ts does infact look better than even some of the tc's for example the horrible Tc of House Of Wax? The horrible TC of Son Of The MasK? Again, this is one of the best ts's and what I like about this ts is we got direct sound from it too............Something we haven't seen with ts's in awhile for example, A lot like love - Centropy TS, or Guess Who - Video CD TS, or even Fantastic 4 - VIDEOCD TS, so for me, this movie for video gets a 9, this movie for audio gets a 9, but again, this movie well just wasn't as good as I expected it to be. I am a big fan of the Stifler, but this movie didn't suit him nor Knoxville for that matter. BUt I will say this, no man is a real man if they didn't get a boner from seeing jessica simpson, oh is she ever so freakin hot!!!!

not to stir up old ghosts, but remember when maven first came out videocd was on a slight "vacation"... weird how they come back after videocd's goodbye and fuck off.
This is good quality!! I compared this to a high quality video clip from the movie, and they looked so similar. This one is just a tad darker than the real movie. Man, but it sure does look good. The audio is great too! It's almost like a telecine, except it just a little worse in quality than a telecine.

Very nice release. One of the best TS's I've seen lately. Video and audio are spot on. I actually enjoyed this. Don't know why the film itself is getting slated so much. Its a no brainer with a few laughs thrown in.

I yet to see a flawless TS in 5 years downloading movies online , every TS has flaws to it.
Take this dukes of hazzard for example .. at first i was like holy crap this is nice , but once i got it onto my standalone and actually watched it , it was a whole new ballpark.
The Colors were washed , it was extremly bright , there was motionblurness and ghosting frames , the audio also had a slight hiss to it and every now and then you could hear the audience laugh ... thus not a TS.
Now we have a ton of people saying "Flawless" , but all these errors listed above which happen in this movie to me makes this TS far from flawless.
Dont get me wrong , this copy is still much better then the crap thats been put out latley , Just hate to see misleading posts

The video quality was great, I didn't really find any flaws in it at all. It's amazing for a telesync.
The audio was also amazing for a telesync, once again, I found no flaws in it.
The movie was horrible. The first ten minutes were good, it whent downhill from there. The acting was god-awful-horrible. The casting was even worse now that I think about it. I actually thought that it was decently directed, but that couldn't save horrible writin, honestly, the dialogue was really annoying. I excpected some good laughs atleast, I ended up getting nothing but corny jokes that were extremely dissapointing to hear from two funny people like Johnny Knoxville and Sean William Scott. One of the worst film's of the year so far for me.

Airhead you amaze me with your quality comments but you still haven't told me where the laughing was in the audio.......I have watched this on standalone now and the only point I can think of was when they were in jail, and that was on the original track..word is airhead judging by your comments on other place that u talk the talk but never walk the walk

Great release, same source as the ANON release.
Colors are brighter, and it's not as cropped.

I always thought telesync meant 'filmed (captured) in an empty cinema with direct audio'?
