This appears to be a nice release from the jpegs. I'm looking forward to seeing this one because I have Teg's internal release. Hopefully the audio is good without the sound glitches in the second cd. Can anyone verify that?

Please can we stop slagging off the release groups unless your gonna go and start releasing yourself then please keep your comments to yourself.As i for one dont care who releases what and however many times it gets released.All it takes is a couple of hrs to download the film.

I fail to see how you(non specific) can rate a release and in the same sentance be saying that you plan to dl it. Sure you can make comments based on a sample, hell thats what the sample is for. But in all honesty you can't rate an entire release(out of 10) without seing the entire release.

Glad to see more people actually making comments. Pitty fueds between groups are spilled into there nfos, though VideoCD deserved it

if this is just a re-encode of their other releasses then the sound on cd2 will still be fux0r.....if they could of fixed it, why didnt they do it the first time around and wait til now....the VideoCD one is fine enough for me and i'm glad they kept it internal....

Well after reading some of the posts on here tonight, I had to voice my opinions: -

1. How many people on this board have ever taken the time, the risks, the effort into providing a release in the VCD/SVCD scene? I would hazzard a guess..............not many.......if at all any........so who can judge the quality of a release if they simply downloaded it using MIRC, Topsites etc.........did you guys sit in some cinema and shit yourself while recording a movie.............I think not!

2. It has to be said that all groups and I mean ALL groups should be credited for their releases............so ok the sound sucks.............tough.........go to the cinema and pay to watch the movie...........oh wait..........the picture is fuzzy.............yeah perhaps thats too bad..........rent the DVD..........no-one is forcing us to watch these pirated releases........you gets your money and takes your choice.........but since these releases are free............don`t expect the world........you won`t get it.

3. Expectations of any movie which is released into the moviez scene should not be that high..........you want to see the film first.........thats great..........but don`t expect amazing quality because that won`t happen..........although the groups are getting better and better.........not perfect.........but that is fine.

4. I have watched 100s if not 1000s of VCDs, SVCDs, DIVX etc. and enjoyed everyone..........because you get the buzz of seeing the movie before the official release (especially for UK guys like me) and if you can appreciate the lengths that the groups go to when obtaining these releases and accept the sub-standard quality (which should be expected when the download is free!) then wow..............thats great!

Don`t bitch about the quality of releases because if you haven`t even tried to release a movie into the scene (I haven`t had the pleasure........many one day though..) then what puts you into a position to judge the release. It's a free download remember...........yep thats right folks............free!........if you want the best quality then pay for it...............but if its free...........you cannot and should not complain.

My first post after viewing this site for many, many months and no............I`m not a newbie............just a regular guy within the scene..........nothing wrong with opinions............thanks for reading mine.

Just a thought...Why bother even putting it on VCDQuality if it's internal and it's MEANT to stay inside the group where no one can watch it. There's almost no point then because none of us will be able to download it unless it's leak. Most of the time, (well somewhat most of the time) it is leak. So why even make it internal? I just don't get this whole internal shyt because most of the times it leaked (or maybe i just dont know my stuff)

Wow! Another SVCD If this is as good as the jpegs than props to Vigilante. but if this is just another lame reencode I will be very upset. I am guessing from all the other posts on this movie it is much better than all the other releases of this movie.
I can now forgive Vigilante for making a stupid reencode of the crappy teg release if this one is the real deal and of course if this is there own source TS SVCD. Thanks again Vigilante and next time don't be so lame as to reencode another release that sould have been nuked if it wasn't internal.

Still bullshit about reencode..WTF...TEGs was a silver..Anyone can pick up the same release..Is that a reencode? I think not. No one stole any release. Hence the watermark. If you know any suppliers out there you know there are usally more than one version of the silver floating around. Maybe a differnt cut or a no subs.. If TEG did the video themselves you could bitch DUPE OR STOLEN but they fuckin didnt do it. ITS A SILVER. No self respecting group is going to reencode someone elses stuff if that same stuff can be gotten on the streets of Malaysia. So until you can prove beyond a doubt that its stolen and not another silver just shut the fuck up.

As for this release just finished watching it. 8's down the board. So far best copy I have seen. CD2 is clean no audio problems whats so ever and who ever wrote CD1 is out of sync is wrong. Played on a standalone Pioneer player and it was perfect.

Only slightly worse, but definitely worse.

The sound in this encode is crackly, and suffers from the same occasional gaps as the TEG and Vigilante Subbed / cropped sub TS releases. The picture is more vivid and higher res than the other releases, which is why the stills look so good, but the motion blurring is quite pronounced, and gave me a bit of a headache I give this 6.5/10 for pic 6 for sound.

The VideoCD release is still the better release.

I'm glad this movie is still so funny after the 3rd time watching it :P

and a big FUCK YOU to all the kids who come on here to moan about release groups. this is VCD QUALITY the purpose of these forums is to discuss the QUALITY of the VCD, not the lame-ass politics of warez.

The video quality is quite decent, the only problem I found was the numerous audio glitches throughout cd1 and more on cd2. I don't know if anyone else had this problem? Fine job though with this release.

It doesn't bother me except when I have my headphones it freaks me out a little :P

I didn't flame you I was quite polite. It's not the first time you have been whingeing on about people going on about Centropy, and I agree with you it is getting out of hand, and it isn't just you. Out of the 6 releases, this one is the BEST of the lot...

To Vigilante, fuck the naysayers, many of us think you did a GREAT job on this internal SVCD!

Keep up the good work, and glad you fixed the audio issues prevalent in all the other releases, including your first release of it.

Looking forward to more QUALITY stuff from you guys! It is the only thing that separates the groups right now.....

Burned & watched this one lastnight , definatly the best release thus far,noticably better color,sharper image, and not overlybright except for some scenes where the Contrast is overblown but nothing major, Nice release

I just got around to watching this release. I wasn't going to watch it because I'm already sick of this movie but anyway. I just checked it out very very nice alot better then all others nothing wrong with it. One of the best ones I seen in a long time. In my opinion this looks better then most of the ctp svcds. I hope ViGiLANTE can release more movies in this quality. the (s)vcd sceen is getting alot better specially thanks to UTi and ViGiLANTE and a few others this just comes to show that we don't fucking need ctp. But I'm sure a bunch of ctp dick riders will disagree with me but fuck em and fuck centropy too. Keep up the good work ViGiLANTE. I can't believe how many people bitched saying there was something wrong with this release people need to get better dvds players stay away from the drugs while watching the movies and put their damn glasses on.

Watched this, probably one of the best telesync's i have ever watched, just about as good as Mr. Deeds from UTi, and Spiderman from CTP. Sound was goood and pic was very nice, only problem was, the ending left me thinking and i was sort of stoned so i didnt get it too much..motherfuckers always gotta do this shit eh

This release is great! I posted earlier on this same forum but I just had to say a few more things about it. Watched it 3 times now on 3 different releases and this one is by far the best copy out there. I am also soooo glad my apex is compatible with svcd mpeg files. The pic and sound is great with no sound probs on the CD 2. I love svcd quality but the only problem I have been having is that some vcd or svcd videos will not play on my friends magnovox progection TV because it is in pal format and this internal svcd nfo says nothing about its format. Does anyone know of any programs that will show file information for svcd files? So if it is in pal I can rencode it to NTSC for viewing on the magnovox projection. If anyone knows please reply.

Add props again to vigilante!!!!!!! Thanks for the most exelllent release and keep up the great work!

So far the best release of the bunch, and I have watched at least some of every one. The video and sound on this one are bother excellent, 8/8 and the show itself gets an 7 as well, just for the laughs it gave me. It is not as good as the previous 2, but this one had some laughs as big if not bigger than any of the other 2. But as far as sustained enjoyment, this one did not live up to the previous 2.

As for groups bashing each other, I say why not? I mean I am pretty sure these guys are not doing this for the money (I could be wrong) What they are in it for is the "prestige" of being "first" or "best". So what else do they have to do but rub it in each other's faces. Keep on releasing all the stuff you guys want because I for one would rather have 6 different releases to get 1 good one rather than being stuck with 1 crappy release because it was "first". I think people are just pissed because the "exalted ones" went internal and that screwed up the whole attitude that "I don't have to work at this at all...I'll just wait for the release to say Centropy and I'll download that one" Sorry boys and girls, it is time to do a little work to get your free movies.

no vigilante did not rls a subbed versions. we had two difference sources for this film, one we releases a NON subbed version of the TS which was not a dupe of teg because tegs was internal. and no we did not steal or re encode there source. Our second source was better so we decided to make internal and svcd due to the amount of releases that there was. No it isent a re encode of videocd's either to clear that issue up ...

This is a decent release from Vigilante, the reason i say "decent" is slight crackle in the sound (can be fixed) and the vid is pretty good but could be better for a SVCD, but props to VGL. Great Work video:8 audio:6.5

their is only a few seconds difference in the way the cds were separated for vigilantes first release of goldmember and this internal number.plus in this one you can fully read the subtitles when nigel and austin powers are talking in cockney slang-whereas in the other vigilante release you coudnt read them. and although this is a top release i think this may be slightly more cropped on sides in this release but obviously wider vertically-daniel-8/7/9

Ok i am not sure, but did anyone else notice it was a bit dark on some parts. I mean overall, the quality on this was one of the best i've seen ina long time. It just that it was dark in several scenes and hard to see a bit. Anyway, aside fromt hat great sound and pic. Sound cracks as said but nothing major. Movie shows opening credits and end at The End. no out takes as mentioned. I thank vigilante on the great release and hope to see more soon. Please remember, more quality is better than more releases. Dont release crap if it is just that. Keep the bad shit to yourself and the good shit for the public and no one can complain.

Nicely touched up sound and brightened colours on the video but I must say that after watching these two releases it certainly appears as though Vigilante re-encoded VCD-Distro's release, or at least obtained the same source and cut it in a different place and tweaked it a little. It's definitely the same vid source.

Great quality on this release both when it comes to sound and picture. I Wonder why the bare boobs where blured in one scene?
and the sound was missing in the fart scene.

I dont think UTi or virgilante is former ctp !!!

Why starting releasing now in NTSC when ctp was releasing everything in PAL.

I dont mind NTSC since i live in USA so keep the NTSC releases continue.

To add to the "to re-encode or not to re-encode" debate [dare I stoke those embers!!!] ...

WhenFat Bastard farts, the sound drops out so you miss the wet part (I didn't say this was gonna be pleasant) on both the Vigilante SVCD and the VideoCD release. Thus supporting the theory that this is a re-encode or from the same source.

Not that I care much: I think it's a worthy release ...def the best one regardless of where it came from. Although it's always nice to read the truth in an nfo.

Congrats to MilesHigh: You managed a sustained rant in support of this release not being a re-encode without bringing to our attention a single observation. Sherlock Holmes you aint.

I been around piratz copies now 4 two years and the diminish of subs has changed the scene for the better.Why did you guys flame Ctpy so much? and no im not a Ctpy ass kissa,they had there faults (blue tinge/audio sync) but they did us all proud,and i certainly miss em.The best rip award goes to TCF for there LOTR ,just awesome,like most of there work. Dominion deserves a shout for his great dvd-divx rips.Uti and ViGiLANTE look like they will stand side by side with TCF soon as there rips are gettin better. All you groups deserve godz status for the good work you have done and the risk you take to supply us ,and i for one am extremely grateful to you all.
P.S.. A good rip of MIB 2 and minority report would be great .THX PPS ..I know the movies are free (dont moan) but these guys have it in them to give us better stuff , they are Godz after all

Normally I wouldn't post over a contreversey like this, but all these whiners about "ooohhh too many releases" are starting to piss me off. Of all the releases, this by far is the best yet. There are no audio glitches throughout this movie, there are no subs, all the subtitles (in the film) are clearly visible, and I have not seen any darkening throughout the film.

Its common knowledge that the best releases of the film normally come out latest, not right away. So it figures to me that this release would be coming out later and wouldn't have been released last Friday or so. I mean come on, why the f**k are you bitching and moaning about too many releases, how is it even your problem? Nobody is forcing you to download anything, that's the whole purpose of VCDQuality anyway. You come here, you see what has been released, pick up a nice JPG sample to see if it is worth downloading and if not you don't go for it. Personally I came online earlier this week after being away and read all the posts about each Goldmember release, and decided to hold off until a better release came out as I didn't want to deal with the audio glitches. Honestly each and every one of you (all of us!) owe much to these groups that risk their ass to satisfy us. It isn't easy to get a release out and please all of us these days. A lot of us are very spoiled from Centropy releases and such. I know that after seeing Sum of All Fears, Undercover Brother, and Bad Company Centropy releases, I was really unimpressed with some of the Minority Report releases and Mr. Deeds releases since I was expecting something a lot better. But you know what, I realized I shouldn't be complaining. I don't have to pay to see these movies, I don't have to worry about anything, all I do is hit a few buttons and few hours later I have a movie sitting right here for me. So if anything, none of us have the right to complain about these relases, if you want to see something better in a release or don't want so many releases then GET UP OFF YOUR LAZY DAMN ASS AND START YOUR OWN GROUP AND RELEASE SHIT. I guarantee that if some of you complainers started your own group, you wouldn't have any releases NEAR as good as Vigilante or Videocd or FTF or UTI.

Like I said, nobody is holding a gun to your head saying "DOWNLOAD EACH AND EVERY RELEASE OF EVERY MOVIE OR ELSE", it's up to you to decide what you download. Sometimes I download every copy of a movie and don't complain, because it isn't that much effort to hit a few buttons and then wait a while. Hell if I don't have to wait 8 bucks I don't mind wasting bandwidth and downloading a few extra releases. Just delete the shitty one and save the better one it really isn't that much effort.

And to finish off my ramping: What the hell is with you that say Centropy sucked ass? I only started downloading VCDs in late April of this year, but every Centropy movie I downloaded owned you! I never saw any video or audio problems, they were all wonderful. So why do you complain about them? Seriously too many of you are picky. So what if a release has some audio problems, its still cheaper than paying $8. And so what if it's glitchy: As long as you understand the plot then what is the problem. Gosh I'm sick of all you complainers......Get a life. (No offense to anyone though)

Well I appreciate your comments..............but.............the point you mention regarding the FREE situation is quite astonishing to me..........simply because: -

1. Did anyone force you to download the release?
2. Did you personally take the risks involved in providing the release.
3. You cannot complain when you don`t pay for the release............people in the scene take out lots of time and loads of effort when creating these releases for everyones pleasure.
4. As for bad reviews...........well the product is not finished at times...........especially when workprints etc are released. If you are that desperate to watch a particular release then you accept all the bad points and appreciate the good ones.
5. Everyone has opinion and that is granted..........but........to bitch, complain, moan about something that is FREE............again I stress FREE...........is just crazy..............if you can do better............then go ahead.............take the risks..............enjoy the buzz..............but for fucks sake...............don`t complain!!!
