Talking Review (2003)-American Wedding with Jason Biggs, and Alyson Hannigan

Lo and Behold, yes, this is the final of the American Pie movies. Unlike Bobby, I have enjoyed each and all of the American Pie Movies. Including everyones favorite nerd Jim, once again portrayed by Jason Biggs, shot some banks when he tried to see Nadia (the babe from the first movie, Shannon Elizabeth) naked, which eventually led him to masterbating with an Apple Pie. Michelle (Alyson Hannigan) played a sexual nympho band geek, who wanted to be part of the cool crowd.

American Pie 2 had Jim and the gang, going to spend their college years at the lake for a summer of partying and a visit from Jim to Michelle at Band Camp and a date with Jim in superglue and a pornographic video tape.

Now 3 years later, and Jim and Michelle being a couple, living in his parents home, have decided to take the matrimonial knot. As the movie opens, Jim's father, once again portrayed by the wonderful Eugene Levy, is seen rushing Jim's engagement ring to the restaurant, where Jim is to propose to Michelle. I have been a fan of the American Pie movies, and they pay homage to the original movie.

The plot if you can call one features Jim with his friends, Kevin (Thomas Ian Nichols), Finch (Eddie Kaye Thomas), and the party meister Stifler (in the role he was born to play, Sean William Scott) help Jim with the steps of planning the wedding.

American Wedding really belongs to Stifler, who has a producers credit for this movie, as he helps Jim get Michelles wedding dress through a dance off with a gay former offensive lineman named Bear, who is also a pimp of two hot young ladies, one played by Nikki Zierling (Former Barker Beauty) .

Not giving away anything, but the scenes with Jim's grumpy grandmother and the doggy rape scene were very hilarious.

American Wedding is a good movie, not gr8 movie, but one o give it a huge thumbs up.

American Wedding is rated R for language and Nudity

American Wedding opened on August 1, 2003

American Wedding gets a much deserved 9 out of 10.

Dammit I can't believe I forgot to say something about Eugene Levy, he's been great in all 3 movies.

One of those strippers is a Barker beauty? I don't remember that kind of potential being on The Price is Right. God damn! I'm gonna have to start watching it again.

the 9 IS deserved, good review

I think the second one was better, too much Stiffler in this one. They over did him, plus no Tara Reid ... ah well I thought it was funny but could have been better. I guess I had too high of expectations for it, still pretty damn funny though

What happens if this does well? Does that mean we get American Divorce? Er, I liked this one, probably more than the second one. I wouldn't give it a 9/10 though, because that's equivalent to a 4.5 out of 5 stars, and technically, anything above a 4 is considered great. American Wedding was not great. I'd give it 3 out of 5 stars. It had many laughs, and I had a good time. I couldn't ask for much more out of it.

The many laughs i thought did sustained the rating, so in words of gr8 American nyah nyah nyah

I found it hilarious to read those 2 statements near each other.
It got a 9/10 and it's not great?

I was never a fan of the A.Pie series but I'll shut up now and never return.

Why was stiffler retarded in this one? And I don't mean that in a nasty way, the guy was seriously not all there in this film. The little giggles he does and just... everything. He's totally different to how he acts in the other two films.

Still was very very very funny (Almost threw up at the dog shit bit)

meh, 6/10, stiffler is the only funny charector in it

i think this was the best out of the american pie trilogy, they cut the cast(main) down to 5, no offense, but tara and that other guy (played lacrosse) always seemed like dead weight, and mena well she was just there *shrugs*. jim of course makes an ass out of himself, the opening scene was classic, that bastard. michelle is back with her querkyness(sp?) few oneliners. stifler is stifler, the whole fuck bitch ass laid speech still happens, finch well still a stuck on his knowledge guy, and kevin is pretty much absent except for a few scenes. there are quite a few comical scenes in this movie, and one stomach turner, ugh.....never see chocolate the same. i'd say check it out, the end of a another "gotta get laid" saga.

agreed with the 9/10 rating. nice call.

Yeah Sean William Scott's acting was really bizarre in this one. He kinda got on my nerves with those damn giggles. Plus, the whole dancing shit... lol i mean it was funny, but rediculously stupid. Regardless of the Stifmeister's antics, this movie was just as good as the other 2. I had no doubt it would be

It was ok and had some laughs (particularly the chocolate truffle) but it really wasn't better then the other 2 american pie movies
