Problems with low sound when playing xvid movies
I've been having problems with low sound on almost every xvid release that I have, what can be the problem and what can I do to fix it?
I think it's the ac3 filter that's ****ing up, if it is what can I do to turn up the volume?
It's not fkin up.
If it's too low, go to AC3 filter settings and use the "Loud" preset.
should'nt this be in the n00bs section?
Haha, thanks. Im just an idiot who forgets to read the readme file

BSPlayer Pro has a built in equalizer. Perfect for those lower volume movies. It also automatically plays CD2 after CD1 for 2 disk files. Great player.

cookie, vlc is better, and free
If you're using vlc player right click on your video while it's playing, go to audio device and then click on stereo. That way it's adjusted for 2 speakers instead of 5.
I use VLC too, and I agree it's great. But for those few movies that come really low volume, BS Player Pro's equalizer is the only thing that raises the volume up above what a normal player would.
I guess you have to have tried it to appreciate what I'm talking about.

I like BS Player Pro so much, that I hadn't looked around to see if any other players had the same volume features as it does.
Thanks for the info horizonstar.
