The counter in the middle will bother some. The sound is very good and clear. Video is good, but I would've liked a bit stronger picture from a scr.

Audio - 8 * Video - 7 * Movie - Damn Good - 9

This movie is done in the the fashion of the horror movies of the 50's and 60's. It's funny, corny, gross and really good.

9 =video-perfect bar the clock which doesn't bother me anyway
10 = sound-perfect so why give less just because its not 5.1 surround etc even though it is perfect and clear throughout
10 = movie for being old school splatter at its best

there is an xvid re-encode with blurred out counter floating around on usenet, which is a lot less annoying to watch

7/8/7 with black counter
give it an 8 with it blurred

Brilliant Copy, but has the annoying timer on the top.

Would have given a 9 if the timer wasn't in the center. Still watched it all the way through. Good stuff.

Not really. Some groups "blur it out", but you can never regain the picture that was once underneath it. And frankly, IMHO, the blurs look just as bad.... but then again, I'm a bit anal.

For those who didn't see the post about MoF's xvid version of this...
http://forum.vcdq.com/showthread.ph...d=71567#newpost

Fixing it yourself is easy and worth learning . I'm just surprised more groups don't do it. It makes a huge difference when watching. Better than cropping/hacking off parts of the thing...
