I just finished watching this, albeit the original rls, and not the re encode...

D0PE fixed the a/r problem (16:9 on vlc did that too)... the cam is pretty good, a few instances of ppl walking by or low laughs, but it is by far watchable...

I tend to say i dont like musicals, prolly cuz i never watch them much, but Little shop of horrors (80s version) and Reefer Madness (musical) and this movie, which i watched only because Amanda Bynes is in it, makes me think i might look into more...

The movie starts low, but by the end you cant help but to have atleast neutral feelings, but I enjoyed it, though not all into it for 20-30 mins...

8/8/8

gotta revise rating 7 for video, its a bit washed out looking...

Posted by frak on 07-23-2007 04:24 AM:

you might want to revise the movie rating while you're at it...

opinions of course... do not get me wrong, i wouldve never gave this flick that rating with 1/4 or even 1/2 a watch...

simply put the racism is funny and sometimes halarious... which carried the movie partially...

Im a 'take action' freak, therefor leaving me in awe of the 60's-70's when people stood and did shit because they believed in it...

Amanda Bynes is really hot when not with a fake tan...

it has some sort of a real life point, many movies lack, but yet i like...

once again... your input is purely opinion... as is mine...

next time dare to elaborate on your claims though...

i know what you mean. everyone used to rave over old movies like "The Sound Of Music" 7.8/10 (32,377 votes) and i could never stand the first 30 min. of the thing, i always wondered if something was wrong for me hating a flick others were crazy over.

Dude...the "Sound of Music" kicks ass...who could ever not like a movie that downplays the spread of Fascism and has Julie Andrews in it??

To the movie...

V: 7
A:6
O:.... hard to say

V: 7,5 (Good Cam)
A: 7,5
M: 8

Great movie. But, i like John Waters classics.....

From 2 rars and sample. For a cam excellent color and resolution. Sound matches video for quality. Haven’t seen much better. Not much on musicals though. Last ones I enjoyed were Grease and Saturday Night Fever. Travolta in both. Hmmm.

8.5/8.5/? May have to give it a go.

10 minutes were enough thank you. But I'm sure there is a niche somewhere for this type of movie.

from the sample,

Vid gets a 8 (for a great cam)
aud rates in at a 7 (feels out of sync)
movie ??? (not my cup of red bull)

other than that free willy!!!
