Best alternative for Itunes?

im sick and tired up to my neck with this piece of junk-shit software...is there any alternative which is worth while checking out?

Well whic Os you running?

As far as service goes, My buddy uses Napster it's a monthly fee of like $15 or so, and download all the songs you want. It's legal.

I do if the album is any good. Same applies for console games or movies. I know this doesn't apply to many but if something is worth paying for, I cough up the money (literally... fuck piggy banks... they cost money... I prefer to store my loose change in a lung or two!).

i used to...until they jacked up the prices. I wont pay £42 for a new xbox title when you can get the fukin console for £130...i wont spend 25-30£ on buying a BR movie...its simply not worth it (i love movies, and paying for every BR title i like will make me bankrupt)
if prices were more realistic, then it definitely would be worth it..i dont no why major cooperates wont do it...they make millions upon millions as it is.

When would anyone pay £42 for a game anyway.Most games are £30 or under on the net.
If a game is worth buying then i buy it.No hesitation.
If a movie or an album is worth buying.I'll buy it.

To be honest about games here.
I have had modded consoles in the past and ended up having loads of games i never played.When you actually fork out for a game you appreciate it more.
Music is the same.

suppose the same goes for anything you get for free... i didnt think games hit the £30 mark till 3 weeks after rls

Purchasing a game that you know is going to be worth $60, like Soul Calibur IV is well worth it. It's a game I don't get tired of, and I've put well over 60-80 hours into it. So yeah I got my $$ out of it.

The last two games I purchased new was Soul Calibur 3 the day it came out, and then Soul Calibur IV the day it came out, lol. I mainly buy games used.

I buy movies as well, again mainly used, but I have NO problem buying movies, and the reason is the MPAA hasn't started suing the gen public.

The reason I won't buy music is cause RIAA is suing people and that to me is a no no, The day the decide not to sue anymore is the day I start buying music. RIAA has been sued before and it's a known fact there ripping the public off.

I would LOVE to buy music again. If you want to support your favorite musicians go to there show and buy merch that's how they make there money.

Exactly... my original xbox had loads of games that I played for a bit until I got bored or hit a tough spot and then I moved on. Now I persevere with purchased games on the 360 and get a sense of achievement if I go all the way through and complete it (most recent game being BF:Bad Company).

If it's a band you're really into, there's a nice feeling when their latest album drops through your mailbox rather than simply downloading it.

Very true, I think you get more out of a game if you actually buy it, although I wished I had only played COD4 AFTER I bought BF:BC, as although the sound effects are awesome, i found everything else about the game to be slightly lacking, aspecially in the weapons department. COD4 has spoilt us too much with its realism and fantastic weapon usage. I'm geeking for Killzone 2 to be honest, the gameplay looks the biz

There is actually quite a few out there mate,
i remember when i first got an ipod, i just couldn't get my head round the itunes thing.
so i started googling for software and found a few sites that have reviews side by side.

i remember trying a few out and eventually settled back with itunes funny enough.
I think its just a matter of taste as each seem to work slightly different from the next one.

But a word of warning, it was probably my lack of knowledge of the whole ipod shit back then and the fact i tried one bit of software after another and another.
but at one point i totally fucked up my music collection.
i thought i had lost it all from the pc and the ipod, but later found out that it was still on the ipod itself.
i used this app where i had to put some files actually ON the ipod and then the pc part of the software somehow recovered all the tunes.
then began the process of renaming the fucking tunes back to there original names. Including the dam id names as well as the file names.

but anyways, in the end i forced my head round the proper itunes software and found that it worked better with the ipods themselves.

besides, itunes (and ipod firmwares) has changed SO much from then.
it would be interesting to see 'if' these 3rd party apps have been able to keep up.

now with this 'genius' things they got fucking about with play lists?

My advice, Suffer itunes. its heavy with that 'mac feel'.
but works out safer in the long run dude.
