Ok watched sample... verdict is...

Video is very nice colours are spot on and no blurry ness or anythin like dat... timer in top right corner (reasonably small compared with others ive seen) and a ''Property of MGM / UA'' watermark pops up in the sample so assuming it pops up all way thro film but its only small in the left top corner so no biggie. no black n white in sample so u betta hope for non through out film.

Not much to say about audio except is was sweet only thing wrong that i noticed was u gots to turn ya speakers up a lil bit more dan usual to hear everythin clearly but thats no problem unless u a lazy mofo.

Couldnt say bout the film... didn't watch...

V : 8
A : 8
M : ?

From sample:

Audio is pretty sweet, as well as video. Not as sharp as I woulda liked, but it's good enough. On a TV you can't tell at all.

There's a timer on the top right and a Property of MGM on the top left. Neither really get in the way though

As a DVDscr: 7.5/9

Wow, you're a fuckin moron! You rated it a 1 but you wouldn't watch it if someone payed you eh? Seems as if you already have. You know you want to get it again, just to see that fat 10 year old.

Wow already a dvdscr of this movie out..I watched most of it burned on the tv..and found no flaw in the video...There is a property of mgm on top left of print..And a timer on the top right, but for the most part it is unobtrusive..The audio is obviously far superior to the previous releases as well..As for the movie, well I would definitely say this movies intended audience is kids..As the avg age of the girls is like 12 yrs old..Its a fun film..However, Not really one i'm dying to see again...ENJOY!!

8/8/6

I sit and wonder how to phrase this... You know the other 1 mil cheesey chick flicks that are out? This is more or less at the bottom of the crap then the top like people who havent watched the movie would have you believe. I watch everything i d/l, so i watched the pot ts of this, and i thought it was amusing, and decent for a chick flick (besides the end sap but whats a chick flik without that) thunderbirds was 3x worse as a movie... as for this release, we all luv these dvdscr, nothing short of what you would expect from all dvdscr's... so for my rating on quality 9/9
on the movie as a chick flick - 8
movie in general - 6
PS- yeah get this for your 12 yr olds... watch them as they leave the house and go do stuff without permission, lmao, but hey, do as you please

Good screener. but has prop of in top left
& clock in top right.now i dont realy mind this but i know ppl will slate it becouse if it.i remember this film was rls by pot(1 of there best rls) so if watermarks & counters bother you stick to the pot rls,but other wise grab this.

7 / 8.5 / 7

Agreed the movie has its audience and it's not for all of us, it was still something I wouldn't mind showing the younger members of the family. The rip was good, colors were great for an SVCD, it seems so funny how great VCD's looked a few yeas ago, but anyway 8/8/6 yes I actually sat through the whole thing we have a few young stars in this one, and I love browies too btw, later.

video - 3. It's a really bad quality for a dvd screener. It looks ok on TV, but not on a monitor. I don't think this is due to the source, rather it's due to lame encoding. I know for sure that you can achieve the same quality in mpeg 2, as in xvid, while staying at same size (although, this release is 1.5 gb big, so this wouldn't matter anyway). So obviously the group should learn how to encode properly.

audio - 7. A little low volume, but clear.

Movie itself - 6. Or even 7? What's the matter with you people? How comes everyone says this movie sux? I thought it's pretty funny. Alexa Vega is great. Definitely worth seeing. If you didn't like it then I suggest you get yourself some Glenn Close movie made for fiftysomethings. This movie is for young people (and for those who never really grew up, like me ). If you are not part of the target audience, don't complain

About the mpeg2 containers: both streams are not multiplexed properly. First, one can't run the movie forward/backward in WMP, it returns an error and quits the playback. Second, demultiplexing in most demultiplexers doesn't work either - try the following:

convert the videocds to mpeg2 files using VCDGear.
then start TMPGEnc plus, load the mpeg tools and try to demultiplex the mpegs to video+audio streams. the video stream file will be appr. 200 mb in size. That's because there's an error in the input file that TMPGEnc cannot overcome, nor most other demultiplexers.

But you have to demultiplex the files in order to re-multiplex them properly! The only utility that copes with these corrupted mpeg containers is mpgtx. just open a dos command window and type:

code:
mpgtx.exe xxx.mpg -b pathTo\xyz -d

where xxx is the name of the input file and xyz is the name of the output files (the video and audio extensions will be added automatically).

After demultiplexing you can re-multiplex both streams with any multiplexer and start watching the movie.

Oh, forgot to mention: the path specified in the cue files is wrong (an absolute one, instead of a relative path ) and has to be edited before using the cues
