Star Wars Episode III Revenge of the Sith INTERNAL DVDRip XviD - DVDRIP - iND

Question here. What codec is used to play this, and what should it be played in? Divx Player, WMP, Power DVD?

Hi, thanks for the reply. Yeah, I used XviD 1.0.3 I think is the latest version? Tried with WMP, and Power DVD. Nothing, It just crashes. Any ideas here? Using Win XP w/ SP-2. Thanks.

I'd normally poke fun at these threads and say something about using GSpot then installing the latest codec's but alas... I followed my own advice (and my codecs are already up-to-date) and this wont play back on my fucking PC either I get that weird divx/xvid effect where scene changes appear to "morph" where a brick wall suddenly looks like part of somebody's face... Sure, it looks awesome in an acid trip kinda way but I wouldn't mind being able to watch it

Yep, I think I'll hit it with the trio of MPC, VLC and ZoomPlayer tonight - one of those fuckers will play it

VLC plays it fine matey, just a bummer my philips wont play the xvid. Used s-video to hook the laptop to the tv, and via vlc, it looks fucking mint, just need to sort out the audio somehow.

the philips player will play it fine if you use that modifier program to modify the code.

What's your firmware, and did you change anything other than the 'p' to an 'n', because I changed the file with MPEG4Modifier and I still got the 'encoded with qpel - incompatible' message
