Street Fighter

Does anyone on this board play any versions of the street fighter series? Me and and a few friends have been playing a shit load of SF Alpha 3, and Some SF3 Third Strike which I really like for the fact the graphics are really nice, but Akuma looks like a fag.

If you do play which system do you play it on, also does anyone play it on Xbox Live? A couple of friends of mine have a 360 and been playing a shit load of SF2 on live. I was watching my friends play on live and that looks like it would be sooooo much fucking fun.

We've been playing SF Alpha 3, SF3 on the ps2.

Any thoughts on SF4? How should it be done? 3D or 2D? Anyone play that horrible 3D ex that was out a few years ago? I kinda liked it when i didn't like SF.

I think SF4 should have EVERY character from all the previous games, and keep true to 2D, but have some really nice realistic graphics.

Also Who do you use? My two favorite characters are 1. AKUMA, he fucking rocks. and then Ken. I don't mind Ryu but he seems to be who most people use.

I used to hate this series, but I recently got really into this game. It's up there in the best of fighting games.

I play it casually on emulators when people are over or I'm at my brother's place.

Generally I play SF Alpha on SNES and SF EX+A on PSX.

One of my bro's does have the XBox Live Arcade version though. If I had my own XBox I'd probably be down to play ya. :}

Akuma kicks ass, but blanka always was and will be my favorite.

if you knew anything about the game, or knew who Akuma is you would understand. If you played Third Strike you would know what I mean.

MVC2 I don't think is that good, It's to chaotic.

If you button smash with SF you won't win against the people I play.

Ah to be young and in love with consoles. That argument on the phone last night was pretty much a waste of time for both of us, I'm in the age group for PC gaming (fit the average pc gamer profile perfectly) while you're in the age group for console gaming. I still enjoy console gaming, but with a 4 yo and 22 month old in the house, I'll wait a bit until they're older before I buy one. Hell, why did I build a 3 foot wall seperating the computer lan gaming area from the kids play area? Because the 22 month old rugrat would be destroying everything in sight if allowed anywhere near my comps. 33 empty cd cases totally destroyed 6 months ago by the little magoo when the missus wasn't watching him pretty much proved my point and reason for building it.

Dude, You just think we should all play pc games, that's why you won't play anything other than fps's when i'm over there, You know how much I dislike them but you think I should still play them. How can you say you'll buy a console? What's the last console you owned? That's an excuse.

You downloaded Xmen Legends but we never played it when I was over there, Why? Because you think we should all play FPS's. I brought over Melty Blood you wouldn't give it a chance, You didn't even want to look at it, I brought over my ps2 and you wouldn't play it at all. Did you play the first time I brought it over? When you lived at your old place you wanted me to hang out and I came over I brought my ps2 and we never plugged it in. So you saying you like consoles is wrong.

Well I guess the ps2 isn't good enough for you, The argument you made last night is the graphics aren't good enough, Since when is a game just about graphics? Well I guess if your a pc gamer it is because half of the god damn fps's are cookie cutter anyway.

Everytime we had a lan party there was always problems with the network, or games crashing, or not being able to get into the server. blah blah blah.

Your in love with pc gaming why don't you play some SF on an emu? or is the graphics not good enough.
