Newsreader problem

This is an unusual one, doubt I'll get a solution.

Free cyber blow job to anyone that can solve it!

When I use any newsreader (well I've tried about 6) and i log off >switch user the newsreader starts using up massive amounts of RAM.

If I leave it running without switching user or screen saver coming on it's fine. However I can't do this as my fucking partner reads my emails and goes through my pictures folder, the sneaky fucked up bitch.

Any ideas?

do you close the newsreader before you switch users?

No.

It used to work fine if my account was running and someone elses but not now.

Thanks but I'm far too lazy to set that up.

I paid for Newsleecher and would like to fix it so it works.

Something is fucking up and I don't know what.

It's not power settings. It's weird starts to use up to 500 MB.

Try grabit. The best one there is!

It may be using up lots of RAM but does it physically slow the PC down? If not, don't worry about it. RAM is there to be used, but Win32 doesn't manage it very well.. firefox does the same thing where it uses as much available RAM as possible.

And yes, SABNZBD is better, you shouldn't have bought Newsleecher. You probably wouldn't have the problem either.

???
It takes less time than newsleecher to set up

Posted by Tak'sBack on 07-16-2007 02:33 PM:

Yes PC slows down.

Every newsreader I use chews my ram up, the longer it's on the more RAM it uses. (only when i switch user)

SABNZBD may be different, I just would like to fix the problem but I don't know what the answer is.

Newsleecher has some really shoddy coding. Try an older version if you can, the new ones crash on me all the time so I stick to 3.7 final and it works like a charm.
