slight flicker, little blur and color wash out, cropped. sound is a little hollow and has some static at times. this yet another cam. ftf needs to learn to lable correctly. 5/3/na

Video is blurry, audio is like every other FTF release recently, that is to say a little muffled on the louder portions. Overall, I'd rate this a 5/5/? but I think that may be a little on the generous side. It's watchable, but barely. Props for the first release, but y'all NEED to find a better source if you want to get back to 'the way things were' on the scene. Just my two bits, I can't complain too loud for free movies Enjoy!

usual ftf shit, picture is cropped and squished similar to the miracle release, sound is very hollow, i mean after watchin matines last few ts's this is almost a complete joke.

This is ok but not good. Same quality as Chasing Liberty but cropped as hell. real squished. Picture is clear. Sound has a little static. But seems like Matine has spoiled us all with perfection.Review coming from CD1 not the sample.

6/6/? haven't seen the movie but reviews are horrid. Thats bad for a childrens film.

holy crap, just got done watching this with my kid, and not even she liked it. kinda got a kick out of her asking me why the movie was so blurry ... 3 times she wanted me to put on another Dora cartoon ...

It would be so nice if people on this forum stopped judging releases on the basis of the mpeg sample only. If you haven't watched the whole release, don't post.

Video - 5. Something is definitely wrong with the angle. But I've seen worse releases. There are some releases that look as if the movie was filmed through a fish bowl. This one is not that bad. Video is clear and not too dark. If they hadn't messed up with the angle I'd give a much better rating.

Audio - 5. Actually it's 7, but what I really hate happens on this release - just in the middle on the movie they start fixing their camcoder and one hears disturbing sounds now and then, cause they do it several times. I hate that! Guys, can't you set up your camcoder PRIOR to the movie, do you have to do it during the movie? Come a couple of minites earlier to the cinema, then you'll have more time.

Movie itself - don't know what to say. Want my objective opinion? 1. The movie is stupid, artificial, and boring. The actors (except for Kristen Stewart, of course) are really bad.

But if you want my subjective opinion, my rating is 6. That's just because Kristen Stewart is in the movie. Since I've seen her in Panic Room, I've been constantly searching the net for movies in which she acts. So if you are a fan of Kristen, go ahead, download this release!

this is very good, i dont know what you people are thinking. for an ftf release this is not bad at all. the colors arent great but theyre good, and the sound is pretty good too. it might be a little too cropped, but you can hardly tell. good job ftf.

firstly, samples are taken so you can judge the video and audio , if you like the quality you then download the whole release, secondly you must be new because your giving FTF pointers on CAM'ing when their releases are from malaysian pressed silver pirate dvds .

you are correct, samples are there for judging the quality of the respective releases, but since samples are so small and comprise only a small portion of the movie, it's not a very good way to judge the quality of the release. Basically, there are four ways:

step 1) look at the jpg sample,

step 2) download the mpeg sample,

step 3) read what people on the forum have to say

or

step 4) download the whole release.

If you come here and start judging on the basis of the mpeg sample (some people even do it on the basis of the jpg sample!) then you basically just repeat steps 1/2.

And besides, how do you know what the quality of the release is just by looking at the sample? do you really think the releasers will give you the worst part in the sample? the part, where there is laughter in the audience or when they fix the camcoder for a minite, or when somebody gets up and one sees just some guy's back instead of the movie? No, you can't see that in the sample.

Downloading the sample is easy, but the gain from such action is questionable. So people who want a more objective opinion come here and read what people have to say, who've watched the whole release. But if somebody comes and posts here his judgement on the basis of the mpeg sample, then people get confused, cause obviously your impression will be always better, since the sample is always better quality than the entire release.

and second, how you know FTF gets their releases from pirated vhs/dvds? You know, I read much about this on this forum, basically EVERY single group has been accused of getting their releases from pirated dvds instead of camcoding themselves. So where's the truth? Have the FTF guys told you that they buy pirated dvds for their releases? I doubt so. People who claim such things usually know nothing, you just invent this to present yourself as an insider. Look at me, I've got connections to the release groups! pfff.

i know they use silvers for 2 reasons,

firstly, every now and then you get another group release a "proper" which is the same source as theirs ( they prolly bought it off the same person)

and secondly, they misslable them sometimes purely because they dont know themselves, hmm

I thought this release was nothing great ...but its good enough for this type of movie. My kids watched it and told me it wasnt as good as the Cody Banks movie or Spy Kids movies. The picture to me was a little blurry....but if you watch it on a smaller tv set you will be ok. The sound was a little below average ...but I could understand what the characters were saying. It didnt mean much because this movie stunk.
