Missing .Cue files..

I downloaded the Ray.SVCD.NFR release and unzipped it all and the .bin files, but the .cue files are missing (this is not the first time this as happened but I have normally had one of the.cue files and just rename the second one for the other cd).

I use Alchohol 120% to burn the image files except when I try and burn image file without the .cue files I get a box that pops up saying "Image File Formatting Setting" where it asks me to choose the mode and block size. If I just leave it on the default settings in this box the cd burns fine, but it won't play on my standalone DVD player, only on my computer.

What do I set the Image File Formatting Setting inorder to get it to work on my standalone player?

or just use a program like "isobuster" which doesnt need .cue files, just extract the mpg and burn as a vcd/svcd. simple.

or sometimes i have it where i didn't opem the first rar and instead clicked on say for example rar17 or something and then only the bin will show up in winrar, but when going back to the first rar file i find that both files are there....might be your problem

I just read this thread and it made me wonder slightly...so i stashed a cue file from a rls and then mounted just the bin in alcohol 120%. Wouldnt mount from context menu so I had to open alcohol then right click on one of the virtual drives and navigate to the bin. It mounted no problem without any pesky questions about mode and block size or headers.
It played fine in power dvd and i was then able to create an image from the mounted bin. I then mounted that and it played fine as well.
Since you already mentioned you have alcohol 120 installed...maybe this could be an easy work around for your problem. Albeit, a decidedly "duct tape" one.
although the link to cuemaker above, that I just saw, is probably a better approach

I posted a reply a few days ago, but it hasn't seemed to have been processed.

I downloaded the Cue Filemaker progam that Neversoft suggested and it did the trick. Its a nifty little program!

i guess you have other cue files. copy paste one to where the bin file is. open with notepad and edit the text to read EXACTLY the same as the bin file without a cue.(including the .bin extention).
